Great build, great accessories, Bad stickers
This kit is mostly based off of the HG Strike Gundam. If you’ve built that kit before as I have, you’ll recognize most of this build. The head, shoulders, forearm armors, side skirts, and ankle armors are new. Everything else is the same as the HG Strike. I do like the look of the kit though. The new shoulders are flashy instead of tactical-looking, and I actually prefer the new ankle armors compared to the HG Strike. I also particularly like the head. It’s already mostly based off of a great kit so this kit has great size, articulation, and is very solid. It makes sense why there are so many Strike variations around as it’s a good base.If you’ve never built a Gundam model kit before, this is also a good beginner Gunpla. It was not hard to build and I completed it in a few evenings and then another session adding decals and trying out poses. It’s a standard build but I do have a complaint: the poor color separation. There are a lot of color correcting stickers in this kit. I’m not the biggest fan of these, so for the kit I only used the small blue ones for the forearm guns. I did use all the ones for the shield and plane though. There are more stickers for the mobile suit, but if you don’t care about color accuracy to the anime or don’t have patience for stickers, The kit will look good completed anyway. The plane however is all solid blue. I think that using the stickers on it improve the aesthetic. The stickers on the Aile Striker Pack and the Astray Pack look great and these do too. It’s not a big enough complaint for me to actually knock it down a star because it’s optional to use them and it looks good either way. My choice was to use some of them. The accessories for this kit are very good! The shield is nice and has a gun in it, you get two beam sabers that can be stored on the side skirts, and three different gun options! Most kits only come with one, but this one has a cool little pistol, a typical beam rifle, and a large beam cannon-like weapon. I enjoy the fact that you can dual-wield two weapons with this kit, but it would be cool if there was a storage option too like on the backpack. Speaking of which, this HG definitely has one of my favorite backpacks. When detached, it can transform into a plane. In this form, it already looks so awesome and can be displayed on an action base. Then to attach it to the Gundam, there’s a seamless transformation into a backpack with wings. In this state, it’s hard to tell it was a plane at all! The wings can be rotated vertically and spread out too look like a bird’s wings - similar to the Freedom wings. They can also angle backward in this position. I like that they are not so big and over the top as to tip over the model kit backwards all the time like certain other flight packs. The wings can also be adjusted to a horizontal position on the back and even angled upward in this position. When displayed like this it looks similar the the Aile Striker or Astray pack - Just instead of angle-able thrusters below the wings it has articulated cannons. Even in backpack mode, these can swing around to the front to be fired or stored away in the back. All in all, this backpack is the star of the show here with so many ways to display it that all look awesome. If it was color separated it would be better, but the design is well engineered for a HG. I have mine displayed on the Age-3 Action Base in plane form alongside the Gundam. To sum up, this is an excellent HG whose only flaw is color separation. To someone like me, this is not a big deal as this kit has it where it matters. I’m also aware that there is a RG version of this kit so it’s like there is that. What I like the most though is the great solid build, the good articulation, the cool accessories and the awesome flight pack. There are many ways to display this kit so I feel as though I’ll be back again and again to give it a new pose.

Great set all around
This set was a fun build all around. It's got quite a bit of detail built in, though it is somewhat lacking in certain places. All in all, though, I would absolutely recommend this to someone interested in getting into high grade models.Pros:A large variety of weapons (Beam pistol, beam rifle, bigger beam rifle, two beam cannons on backpack, two beam sabers, and the shield has a barrel on it, too.)Great posing! Especially when used with an Action Base 2.Backpack is able to be displayed separately as the Build Booster (something some other Build Fighters figures with backpacks included, like the Build Mk II and the Zaku Amazing, lack.)Great detail on the main mecha. It would look just fine out of the box with the stickers applied, but taking just a little extra time with some Gundam Markers and panel lining marker really makes it pop.Cons:Some places where extra color could have easily been included in plastic were left to either stickers, or not at all. The Build Booster's beam cannon arms are solid blue plastic and it doesn't even include stickers to cover it up. I think even the separate Build Booster kit is this way as I believe they use the same runners. The number of stickers for the Gundam itself is understandable, however, since it's not a Master or Real Grade.Quite a few of the stickers fold over multiple edges and can be a bit difficult to line up properly. Patience and a steady hand are a must when dealing with them. Especially the white on the wings of the backpack, chances are you'll have to readjust at least one of them at least once before you'll get them to a point you'll be happy with.Bonus: They're making a new Strike Gundam from Gundam SEED (the Gundam this Build Strike is based on) using this kit as a base. If you're a fan of Gundam SEED but didn't like some things on the older HG, the new kit will be a great upgrade.

Build Strike w/ Build Booster
This was very fun to build. It doesn't come just with the Mobile Suit, but with the Build Booster as well. You get 2 things for the price of one, which is great. Articulation is nice, and the weapon accessories are awesome; it comes with beam sabers, beam rifle, and the shield. By itself, the Mobile Suit is absolutely wonderful. Adding the Build Booster just makes it even better! The Booster has articulation on its own, so you can move/pose it as well. My only gripe about the Booster is that all the pieces are solid blue. This means that you have to put a crap ton of decals just to get it anywhere near a show accurate look. One thing I will comment on is that while I was lightly playing with it (after I had built it), I took off the Build Booster so I could play with the Mobile Suit just by itself. After I was done, and put the Build Booster back on, it suddenly became loose out of nowhere. Before, it fit nice and tight onto the back of the Build Strike with no spaces in between. Then after I took it off ONCE and put it back on, it became loose just like that, like loose to the point where a simple poke would dislodge the Build Booster, THAT'S how loose it got. I don't know how that happened and I don't know why. I made sure the peg was still in one piece, but it's still loose and wobbly. Now I just have it on display with the Build Booster, but posed in a way that you can't tell it's loose. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this problem or maybe it's just my figure. However, this is just a small nitpick, and it should not be enough to deter you from buying this figure. Overall, it's a great buy and great add for any Gundam collection.

Excelente figura
