MRE 3 pack Desserts / First Inspection date 2023 to 2025 / Fresh & Fast! (Carrot Pound Cake)

Wanted to try this dessert out, thus ordered the 3 pk. Problem is that it came in bubble envelope which ended in cake being 'crumbled'. That cost a star for value. Had to use a spoon to scrape out.Not as thick as in picture but estimated it to be inline with other desserts, abite slightly smaller (80-90% of others).But its good and taste great. < Not as good as 'mom's' though. :) > It will ruin your palate for 'regular' junk food if eaten first.Will order a larger amount pack so it'll be shipped in a box next time.

I carried them in day pack on hiking trails. they are packaged perfect for this type of snack. Pound cake is one of my favorites and would buy again. Downside is they are expensive.

MRE cakes better than Tastee cake. Packaging keeps them fresh and delicious. A mini meal in itself.

This has to be one of the best things to ever throw in your backpack great snack anywhere
