3M3430 White Micro Prismatic Sheeting Reflective Tape - 0.5 in. X 15 ft. Non Metalized Adhesive Tape Roll. Safety Tape

I bought this tape to be able to locate specific locations in the dark, and it works great. I just use a common flashlight and this will reflect from quite a distance, easily over 100 yards, but I haven't maxed it out yet to see exactly how far it works. Of course the light source will likely vary results.

Most workdays I'm out of the house well before the crack of dawn riding my bicycle to work. I don't ride to work to save money so I'm not as cost sensitive as some commuters. But I do like to be safe. Ever since replacing my reflective sidewall tires, all the brands I tried rode like rocks, with Panaracer Gravel King SK tires, the ride has vastly improved. But I was a bit worried about not being visible from the side.My usual commuter bike is a steel single speed All City Nature Boy. The white reflective tape blends in nicely with the white accents along the fork and rear stays.My wife and I tested how reflective it was before I committed to using it full time. We placed 2" strips on side of the fork, seat, and chainstays. That evening, with my wife in her car following me around an industrial park the reflectors were visible from the rear at least 75 yards away. On a side approach from an intersection, the reflectors on the fork and rear stays gave a good indication that I was in the intersection. She could see me well a T-Bone collision could happen.Between my front headlight, Niterider 750, the rear blinker, a Portland Design Works Radbot 1000 and all my reflective gear, the excuse 'I didn't see you' would be complete bull&%@!.I carry the remaining tape in my backpack. When I happen upon a cyclist with no reflector or lights I offer them a bit of this tape. I know some of my fellow commuters ride to work out of necessity. I want to make sure everybody in the tribe is safe.The only con I have is how difficult it is to remove the backer tape. Once you get it off, it does stick well to a clean surface.

It is indeed pretty stiff, so I use only small (approx 3-4" segments) at a time on the back of the winter coat I walk my dog in during the dark winter evenings. A long piece wouldn't bend with the fabric. It holds up very well on my coat in sub-zero temperatures, not falling off at all.It sure beats putting on one of those safety vests/belts that makes you look like a road construction worker.

This is the best reflective tape I have been able to find on Amazon. Its reflectiveness is very good. Its adhesion to my mailbox is great, this was a big plus as most reflective tape on Amazon does not stick very well. I will be sticking with the 3M/TapeCase brand for now on even if it cost a little more. It sticks decently around slight curves. I did clean my mailbox off with isopropyl alcohol before applying the tape. My mailbox has never been so visible (I had to make it so visible as an Amazon driver ran it over a couple months ago smh).

Sturdy!!! Great adhesive!!! Fabulous reflection!!!!! Can cut it into shapes or use it in a conventional manner. I think they ask a reasonable and fair price - at least when I bought it. So many of the similar products gouged and did not have the same quality level. I initially bought two and then I went back and ordered more. I live in a rural place and have made 1/2" to 1" amorphous-shaped dogs and have attached them to the border rock walls of my property. When driving in at night, even on the darkest nights, one can "connect the dots" and navigate in without electrical lights or ugly strips of reflective tape all over items on your property. I live in the first "Dark Sky" city in America and you can sit anywhere out here and see the major star constellations. We have five world-class observatories with scientists adding knowledge to humanity through their ability to observe. I think this solution contributes to that group culture by providing a safety aspect without marring our landscape that by day is stunning.

This product is a good reflective tape. But I believe the seller cuts this off a larger roll and puts it in a plastic bag. No marking on bag and start of tape was cut crooked.

I purchased a laser level from Amazon for some outdoor work. I was running a drain line and was looking for the path with the best slope. I bought this 3m 3430 reflective tape from Amazon to put on my homemade stadia rod. This tape reflects over 70% of the light that strikes it back in the direction of the source in a narrow cone . Even at 100 ft in broad daylight with about a 1" wide piece of this tape I could plainly see the green laser line on the stadia rod with the naked eye as long as I kept my eyes close behind and looking around the laser level. I used a small pair of binoculars (7X21 Tasco), also purchased at Amazon, to read out the elevations on the stadia rod. The only caution is not to look into the laser beam with the binoculars, only use it to see the diffused light reflecting from the stadia rod. The only caveat, if the sun is directly behind and in line with the the laser beam illuminating the reflective tape the reflection of the green laser line will be overwhelmed, since the sun will be reflected back also.

High reflectivity, engineer grade. Good adhesive but heed temperature application of 50°. And roller burnish it if possible. This is heavy weight, stiff tape and does not like corners in any direction. 'Slight' curve maybe depending on tape width.

Good tape to place on bags/jackets during the winter. The tape is quite durable. I don't think it's actually a 3M product, though, as there is no brand marking on the package.

These are really good. not super bright, they reflect well. I use it on my trailer and truck. would recommend.

This reflective tape was purchased for a DIY project. The tape is good quality at a good price. I’d recommend!My mirror was gold with burgundy strips. (Pictured) The 1/2” tape worked perfectly to cover the burgundy after I sprayed the mirror silver. Also pictured. Perfect for the bathroom it’s in especially because the tape reflects the light!

Very reflective material and good adhesion. Perfect if you have regular shape material needed extra visibility in the dark.I was looking for something a bit more flexible to work around different shape.
