## Description

Upgrade your recessed lighting with the Feit Electric BR40 13-Watt Dimmable LED Flood Bulb — the smart, energy-efficient replacement for 65-watt incandescent BR40 flood bulbs. At just 13 watts, it delivers the same 850 lumens of warm, inviting soft white (2700K) light at a fraction of the energy cost, with an estimated annual operating cost of just $1.57 per bulb. Fully dimmable and compatible with most standard dimmer switches, this BR40 LED gives you complete control over your lighting ambiance — smooth, flicker-free performance at every dim level with no buzzing or harsh transitions. The 110° wide-flood beam angle delivers broad, even light distribution, making it ideal for 5 in. and 6 in. recessed can fixtures, track lighting, and open fixtures. Enclosed fixture rated and suitable for both indoor and outdoor damp locations, this bulb works safely in airtight recessed cans, covered porches, patios, and exterior entryways — no compatibility concerns, no overheating issues. With a CRI of 80, colors appear natural and accurate under its warm 2700K glow, perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens, hallways, and anywhere flattering, comfortable light matters. With an 11,000-hour rated life — up to 10 years at typical use — and a standard E26 medium base that screws into virtually any existing fixture, this is the easiest, most cost-effective recessed lighting upgrade you can make. This 6-pack makes it simple to upgrade multiple rooms or your entire home in a single order with consistent color and brightness across all six bulbs.

## Features

- ✔ 65-WATT REPLACEMENT AT JUST 13 WATTS — UP TO 80% ENERGY SAVINGS WITH NO SACRIFICE IN BRIGHTNESS: This BR40 LED flood bulb delivers 850 lumens of bright, warm light using only 13 watts — the equivalent of a 65-watt incandescent flood bulb. That's up to 80% less energy consumption with the same light output, translating to meaningful reductions in your monthly electricity bill, especially when used across multiple recessed fixtures throughout your home.e
- ✔ SMOOTH, FLICKER-FREE DIMMABILITY — COMPATIBLE WITH MOST STANDARD DIMMERS: Fully dimmable from full brightness down to a soft ambient glow, this BR40 LED works with most standard dimmer switches for complete control over your lighting atmosphere. Set the perfect mood for dinner, movie nights, entertaining, or everyday living. Smooth, flicker-free dimming performance with no buzzing or flickering at any level — just clean, consistent light at whatever brightness you choose.
- ✔ SOFT WHITE 2700K | CRI 80 — WARM, ACCURATE, FLATTERING LIGHT FOR LIVING SPACES: The 2700K soft white color temperature produces the same warm, inviting glow as traditional incandescent bulbs, making it ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens, and hallways. A CRI of 80 ensures colors appear natural and true-to-life — important for artwork, décor, and any space where light quality and color accuracy matter.
- ✔ 110° WIDE FLOOD BEAM ANGLE — BROAD, EVEN LIGHT DISTRIBUTION FOR 5 IN. AND 6 IN. RECESSED FIXTURES: The 110° wide-flood beam angle delivers broad, even illumination across a wide area, making it ideal for 5 in. and 6 in. recessed can fixtures, track lighting, and open fixtures. At 4.7 in. wide and 6.3 in. tall, it fits comfortably in standard recessed housings without crowding. Perfect for kitchens, living rooms, foyers, hallways, and covered outdoor areas where wide, shadow-reducing light coverage is needed.
- ✔ FEIT ELECTRIC — A TRUSTED AMERICAN LIGHTING BRAND FOR OVER 45 YEARS: Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Pico Rivera, CA, Feit Electric has been a go-to name in US lighting for decades. Our LED bulbs are engineered for long-term reliability, accurate color rendering, smooth dimming, and consistent light output from day one through end of life.
- ✔ ENCLOSED FIXTURE RATED — SAFE FOR USE IN FULLY ENCLOSED RECESSED CANS AND HOUSINGS: Unlike many LED bulbs that are not rated for enclosed fixtures, this BR40 LED is specifically rated for use in enclosed fixture housings — making it safe and compatible with airtight recessed cans, fully enclosed track heads, and other sealed fixture types. No heat buildup concerns, no voided warranties, no compatibility guesswork with your existing recessed fixtures.
- ✔ 11,000-HOUR RATED LIFE — LASTS UP TO 10 YEARS, DRAMATICALLY REDUCING REPLACEMENTS: Rated for 11,000 hours of use, this LED flood bulb lasts up to 10 years based on 3 hours of daily use — far outlasting standard incandescent BR40 bulbs that typically burn out in 1,000–2,000 hours. Fewer replacements mean fewer trips up the ladder, lower ongoing maintenance costs, and far less hassle keeping hard-to-reach recessed fixtures lit over the long term.
- ✔ INDOOR & OUTDOOR DAMP LOCATION RATED — VERSATILE FOR COVERED EXTERIOR FIXTURES: Rated for indoor use and outdoor damp locations, this BR40 LED is a versatile choice for covered porches, patios, entryways, overhangs, and exterior recessed fixtures in addition to all standard indoor applications. Reliable, consistent performance in varying temperatures — no flickering, no delayed start-up in cooler conditions.
