**Q: Is the blade 4 '' or 5 1/4 '' ?**
A: It is 4 inches.

**Q: is this a locking blade**
A: No,  It is NOT a locking/lock back knife.  The blade is firmly seated and safe when deployed.  I am vey happy with this inexpensive quality knife.  The profile is also pretty thin so it's easy to carry in a pocket. It did come with a generic but nice leather sheath which I don't use.

**Q: Is this knife made in the USA?**
A: Schrade 125OT is made in China

**Q: is this a locking blade**
A: if you read the comments section, you'll see that it is not...still a great knife
