I am very pleased with the bicycle.. how the shipping of so much. I have to replace the tape on the handle bars for it was torn in shipping. I would recommend anyone that buys the bicycle to take it to the local bike shop for simple adjustments.. I have truly enjoyed the purchase..

This bike is doing the job. My first road bike and it's been a great addition to my exercise regimen. I will say, it is not perfect and if you ride it 100+ miles in a week, you'll start to notice some creaks and noises. Luckily, I'm a regular at a bike shop nearby so they help me make minor fixes. But if you don't have that convenience, I'd opt for an in-person buy from a reputable source who has installed it themselves.

Bought this bike with a lot of enthusiasm. After assembling the bike, the pedals were setup correctly. However during my 2nd ride for 7 miles, I noticed that the right pedal started to bend out of the grove. Either the pedal that was shipped was the incorrect one or there is a defect in the grove of the rod that connects the pedal. Now in the 3rd ride, the pedal has completely come off and its groves has been completely worn out. Need a replacement for the pedal or in the worst scenario for the entire rod assembly that attaches to the pedal.

Not so way to assemble but overall experience was great.

It’s really cheap, but two weeks after riding it the crank started wobbling like crazy. Brought it to a bike mechanic who said the bottom bracket is already worn out and it’s unsafe to ride. Go with another option that at least will not fall apart in two weeks

The media could not be loaded. I had not had a bike of my own in many years, but with the shutdown and working from home I decided to get one to get some exercise and out of the house! This HILAND bike appealed to me because it looked most like the old 10 speed bikes I had as a kid and considering the crazy fact that folks routinely spend thousands for a bike now, for $274 how could I go wrong?The positives are the styling. It's a great looking bike and resembles ones made by Motobecane and Cannondale that sell for 10x the price. It's lightweight and confortable, and the gear shift is pretty smooth.Negatives are that the handlebars were slightly bent and never quite in alignment with the frame. Balance was not good. You would have a hard time riding no hands on this bike it's just wobbly. And the brakes were hard to grab and definitely underpowered. They are old fashioned side pull brakes and I weigh almost 200 pounds. They could not really stop me going down a steep hill. I would definitely recommend spending some more money to swap them out for better ones.Overall, I figure what could I really expect for the price. This is a legit men's road bike and for the money probably the best value you can find anywhere. No wonder they're always sold out.
