It can help
It helps with a limited frequency range.

Mostly works
I bought this to protect me from my outer space cat, but it didn't work. Fortunately, I can focus my microwave energy from my WiFi router to heat up my food.

Useful maybe? - I don't know for what
Do not buy this unless you know the exact singular source of RF, and it is quite narrow and there is little or no RF from the other direction. The fabric on the umbrella stops the RF, and it also reflects it, so if you hold the umbrella exactly between you and the RF (assuming it is just coming from one direction), it will mitigate it, but if you angle it a bit so there are fields coming towards the underside, it will reflect the RF back and increase your exposure. Since RF is usually coming from multiple directions, I would not expect much mitigation using this in most areas and in fact when I measured it, I did not notice any improvement.I would suggest having at least an RF meter to figure out how the umbrella is affecting the fields and maybe doing some research on EMF shielding and the dangers of partial shielding. It does work dandy as it says if you position it in front of your router or other wireless devices, such as popping over a cell phone, but so would a piece of the shielding material, which is much easier to use. I would not use it over my head indoors, not only because it reflects RF, but it also conducts electrical fields, which will concentrate these frequencies over your head.I haven’t yet found a use for it, but hope someone might suggest one.
