The basin was carefully, solidly packaged and labeled within a few hours of ordering, and left the shipping facility the next day.As I said above, the basin looks great, a necessity because it'll be on an open shelf more often than not, as making a timpano won't be that frequent an occurrence (though I'll likely follow another reviewer's example and also use it to proof dough).And it worked very well, perfectly browning the crust and releasing it without a problem.The only thing some people might find disagreeable would be if, like mine, there were three small chips on the bottom/underside. (They were roughly equidistant and similar in appearance, so I'm guessing production-related.) Not being a food-contact surface, I'm not overly concerned, just have to take a little extra care to avoid further damage.Overall, I'm pretty happy with my basin and would recommend it to others.

This bowl was packed securely and arrived without damage. It is high quality and cleans up nicely. It is perfect for big batch cooking!
