I was amazed by the quality of this eyeliner, it's great!The color was just right, it glided on easily, the coverage was just right and this stuff stays on better than any other eyeliner I've ever used (luxury brands included). I put it on in the morning, it stayed put all day without a smudge then still stayed while I cooked dinner (it was hot, I sweated a lot). What amazed me most is that I didn't take time to wash my face before I went to bed and when I woke up, this eyeliner was still on and not smudged. I've been known to spend quite a bit for a good eyeliner but even eyeliners I've bought for $20-30 could not compare to this one in staying power.

It glides on smoothly and is easy to smudge or rub off as long as you do it immediately. After about 2 minutes, it sets and will not wipe off. One night, I forgot to clean it off. The next day it still looked pretty good! It wasn't as dark but I didn't even bother putting more on. It looked good enough the way it was since I didn't need to go anywhere that day. It never clumps or looks bad. The only negative is that it has to be sharpened and there is no attached sharpener. This means I have to keep an little sharpener in my travel bag, bathroom drawer, purse, etc. This is annoying since I am a minimalist.

First..the good. The pencil goes on very smoothly and richly. Much nicer than any other pencil I have tried. Then the bad: I ordered a Kohl Brown pencil. What I received was labeled brown, but was more of a glittery bronze. Lots of glitter. I was not expecting glitter. And although it goes on easily, really nicely, after about six hours it was half gone. At about 8 hours, it had virtually disappeared. No. I had not rubbed my eyes. No, I did not go swimming . No, it was not a hot day where my face would sweat. The stuff just does not last.

I've used these eyeliner pencils for about a year. They work as well as the expensive ones at the department store makeup counter, and these are not $20.00. I have these on subscription.

This was smooth and easy going on the first and only time I got to use it. By the middle of the day, it was leaking and smudging down my eyes and needed constant wiping to improve the appearance. The next day I tried to use it again and 1) It was all dried up and I couldn't draw a line no matter how hard I pushed until it really hurt. 2) I tried to advance it out of the pencil tube to see if it was fresh below but it would not budge. The entire top broke off trying to twist it because it does not twist. So I decided to sharpen it like a pencil but it's not pencil material, it's plastic and my sharpeners could not cut through the plastic and one even broke. What a terrible product, Use it ONCE and throw it away, It was completely useless. They should tell customers about all the difficulties and that it is a DISPOSABLE!, DOES NOT ADVANCE AND NOT SHARPENABLE!! I feel really cheated because that's not what I paid for and expected it to last at least a few weeks. I will never buy this again and I would never recommend this to anyone. If someone tells you that they sharpened it and it's fine,...Don't believe it, I tried everything!!

I have watery eyes, which has always been frustrating to keep liners on. Even the supposed "best" & most expensive, I've tried them all. Forget the waterline, I don't ever bother anymore. But... somehow Scandaleyes liner WORKS!! It even stays on all day! I'm always surprised when I check it hours later. I usually tap/swipe a good liner brush onto the pencil and then apply. I find I have better control & it looks smoother. The brown is a pretty colour. I'd be upset if Rimmel ever discontinued, so I'm gonna stock up :) *I see that some ppl had trouble with sharpening? I use- (Sun's Out Beauty Precision 2-in-1 Cosmetic Pencil Sharpener), and it works beautifully.
