License Plate and Frame Security Kit for Asian and Some European Vehicles (Metric)

These were exactly what I was looking for. They are well made hardware, easily installed and worked like a charm. I used these to replace the Phillips head screws that held on my rear plate of my 2012 4Runner. They fit perfectly.

I installed these on two Lexus' that I have and they worked great!!! Prior to getting Plate Keepers, In recent months, a plate was stolen from each car. Stolen plate means 3 hours at the DMV plus a $20 fee. And the pain in the neck of being pulled over by the police for not having a plate while you wait for the police report so the DMV will issue a new plate. Yes, all this happened to me twice in the past few months. This is a bargain.

I out these on a Toyota Prius V; 2016. They fit great, everything was fine. Now 8 years later I cannot remove them in order to remove the license plate for selling the car! No clue why! If you have installed these I suggest you periodically loosen them up and retighten.

So we have these ne'er-do-wells from Another Neighborhood who are reluctant to pay their car registration fees and get proper annual stickers for their license plates - they'd rather scrape the annual stickers from someone else's vehicle and drive around illegally, leaving the hapless victim of their theft to pay the fine for not displaying the sticker. Having been the object of their thievery twice before,and subsequently cited by minions of the law, I bought a set of transparent plate covers (also available on Amazon) and secured the plastic covers with these screws. Both of my vehicles use the metric thread and the screws fit well. Any enterprising thief will now have to remove these screws using the special bit to get past the plastic shield in order to scrape off my stickers, and since most of these reprobates are lazy I'm counting on that being too much trouble.. An old trick is to score the stickers with a box cutter or razorblade so they can't be reassembled easily on another vehicle, but that doesn't stop these rascals from taking the sticker anyway just for spite. The bit is a standard 1/4 drive and fits most screwdrivers with removable bits.

I bought several of these for me and family members.They shipped quickly, actually just on the other side of the Phoenix Valley from me.The bolts are a little shorter than my original ones, but they work great.Easy to install, hand started them, then finished with the included tool.I'd have given 5-stars, but I couldn't buy more than 3 of the products at a time at Amazon.

Wanted to upgrade from the standard license plate bolts while making a switch to a personalized plate. These have held up after months of every weather condition you can imagine. They look good too.
