Thought these were good value for moneyb

I rceived this jug trio today and was very disappointed. I was looking for plastic measuring jugs to use in the microwave. These jugs are brittle, badly moulded plastic with some nasty sharp edges. One has scratches to the spout and the scale on the smallest is wearimg off before use so clearly not printed to last (not that they are built to last in any sense...). Nothing on any of the 3 jugs says "microwave safe" and personally I would not risk these in the microwave OR dishwasher. Waste of £10 as too much hassle to return during current lockdown. Lest I've been unclear: please don't waste your money like I did!!

The jugs are pretty good, however the measurers are not easy to read. In the photo on Amazon they looked better than on the actual jugs - easier to read in the photo!

Largest jug a bit smaller than thought.

At first had no problems with these jugs but after using boiling water they ALL started crazing, and then started leaking, then later I picked up the middle sized jug and fortunately it was filled with cold water instead of boiling water as the handle snapped off when I picked it up. I strongly recommend NOBODY buys these jugs as they are dangerous and a complete waste of money.

Easy to read but don’t put boiling water in they just crack. So not much good for making anything hot like stock gravy etc.
