Huang Fei Hong Spicy Cripy Peanut, 3.88 Ounce 8-Count

I absolutely LOVE these peanuts. I discovered them in 2022 at a Japanese grocery just outside of Las Vegas, and ever since then, I've been hooked. I'll occasionally order this bundle of 8 bags, and I'll end up tearing through them WAY too quickly.I find them delicious; not too salty and just the right amount of heat. Seriously; as long as you don't eat the dried peppers and Sichuan peppercorns, you'll be totally fine. Also, they have a crunch as strong as those Virginia-style blistered peanuts, but even better.Another great benefit of these is that you can save the peppercorns and dried peppers and grind it all up for use in recipes!

Crunchy, spicy, umami delight! Perfect for a snack with an adult beverage…

My only concern is the price. It could be a little cheaper.

These peanuts are a staple in our house; they are excellent.But I'm writing this review in appreciation for great customer service, behind the scenes. Apparently the company was out stock in the size bags that I ordered. Instead of wasting time with a whole back-and-forth they just sent a set of fewer, but larger, bags. This resulted in more product overall, with no delay and no price increase. That's what I call customer service!!

Love the taste and spicy peanuts. It is cooked in a lot of oil so read the ingredients label.

I really enjoy the flavor of these peanuts. I had a friend from Beijing introduce them to me. She said that they are very popular flavor in that area. I have shared with friends, but many of them did not really like them, only the more adventurous and ones that like really spicy food. They are not super spicy, but have really different spice flavor. If you eat a lot, it can make your mouth kind of numb, not sure why. It does contain MSG, so I try to limit my consumption. My friend said not to throw away any left over spice in the bag. Put it in soup or over rice.

I love this peanuts so much! It’s a quick delivery, but I get them in 2.47 oz instead of 3.88!! Is it wrong advertising or wrong handling?

The combination of peanuts, salt, red chili, and Szechuan pepper corns is genius. I know some folks who reserve the chili and pepper corns for cooking purposes. I know one brave soul who eats up these spicy bits along with the peanuts. Too strong for me!I tried other brands of Chinese spicy peanuts, but this one is the best.You can get a better price at a Chinese grocery store. This particular offering was the best deal I could find on Amazon.
