I have used this product for about three or four weeks to secure an outdoor gate, and it is already completely seized up (the dial doesn't turn any more), and the paint is heavily chipped. I specifically bought an ABUS product because the previous product had lasted six months "only", and I wanted something that would last at least a year. Granted, the use is heavy (the lock is accessed about a dozen times a day), but the no-name brand had lasted half a year, and the ABUS didn't even make it a month. Pretty disappointed, to be honest.

Ich kann es nur empfehlen, ich habe mit diesem schon das 2te Schloss dieser Art in gebrauch. Und kann nichts schlechtes sagen.

E' tra i più grossi lucchetti a combinazione che abbia mai visto in circolazione. Bello nell'aspetto, rassicurante il grado di protezione che trasmettere. Lo utilizzo accoppiato ad adeguata catena Abus 8KS/110B HS, a protezione di una bicicletta di elevato valore all'interno di un parcheggio custodito. E' tutto metallico, non ci sono parti in materiale plastico. Le rotelline (4) ruotano benissimo in un senso, mentre sono dure in quello opposto: ciò rende laboriosa la composizione della combinazione. Poi sono piccole e molto ravvicinate: è facile girare involontariamente una rotella appena sincronizzata se si hanno le dita un po' grosse. Impossibile ruotarle con i guanti. Ci si abitua, nulla di così grave, soprattutto considerando l'enorme vantaggio di non doversi mai portare la chiave appresso rispetto ai lucchetti tradizionali. Però mi impediscono il rilascio di un giudizio totalmente positivo. Ancora ignota la resistenza alla corrosione, troppo presto.
