Bought this to protect new multimeter. Good fit for the multimeter, good quality zip feels strong . Looks good and offers good protection from being bumped about as a mobile tech.

Have had the meter and a box of leads hanging around for a while and they all fitted well in this case

Tidy hard case to keep extra leads and bits

This is big enough not only for the meter but also for the separate test leads kit.The net in the front will neatly keep all the bits of the kit with the meter (croc clips, the included thermometer, the component test adapter, etc), and the main bit neatly houses the meter. It will zip shut neatly without removing the test leads - and I mainly use the longer ones from the leads kit which fit no bother.

A well made product with what appears to be a good quality zip all around. It has ample size but that simply gives you the opportunity to fit some foam padding inside, top and bottom, to give extra protection. No bad idea for sensitive electrical equipment. The elasticated pocket in the top adequately takes the Cables, Thermocouple, and the Multi-function socket that the AstroAI multimeter comes with.

Product quality is quite good and is sized correctly for the AstroAI TRMS6000 however I remain disappointed with it, principally due to the misleading product photography.The photos suggest the multimeter sits flush with the top edge of the lower part of the case whereas in fact there is a 2.5 cm or so gap. Most of the time I’d use the multimeter while in the case but the extra depth makes this a bit awkward (esp. with my fat fingers!). Yes, maybe I should have paid more attention to the photo with the dimensions marked on it and, yes, I could add some foam padding to ‘lift’ the multimeter forward but why would I when the written description and photos suggest a perfect fit (it isn’t).Furthermore, the photos show there is a clip on the ‘handstrap’ and so it can be removed if not wanted (I do not want). But the case that was supplied to me has a permanent handstrap stitched on the case.So overall, very disappointed and would return were it not I’ve just realised I’ve missed the boat on that one as the returns window has just closed.Not happy!
