It is pretty much what the picture shows: Heat shield, filter, clamps, small tubing for connection with your Stock tubingSo yes, just the "intake head"In my opinion is no difference than with an entire intake system. The package provides parts for all 3.6, 5.7, and 6.4 liter engines.I preferred this type because my dealer can't tell me squat about buying a whole new system, I just changed the type of filter I was using.

Q: Will this fit a 2017 challenger with the shaker hood intake?

I don't believe the hood would be a issue,as it closes flush onto the box. Make sure it will fit your type of engine.

Yes, it will work. It has adapters to make it fit 6.4, 5.7, and 3.6 engines.

Q: I want to order replacemnt filters at the same time. What part number would they be?

I'd guess all you'd need is the Airaid model number. BUT, I can't imagine why you'd want to stockpile filter elements (that cost about 80 bucks) for a permanent filter that should last for at least 60,000 miles. I've had these on three cars and wash them about every eight to ten thousand miles ... have even heard of some folks putting them in their dishwasher! I blow them out and then wash them in the sink using dishwashing liquid and a medium soft brush
