Update - 2017-12-28I'm increasing the rating on these from three stars to four. Here's why - I run my truck on the back roads in the mountains of Idaho. This fall, my truck ran through snow, mud, rain and heavily pot-holed roads and handled them with aplomb. These fender flares held up with no issues. Even my beef with the plastic rivets seems to be somewhat trivial.Best of all - these flares did the job I purchased them for: preventing mud, snow and rocks from painting the side of my truck. I plan on getting some better wheels (which will probably extend the wheelbase a bit), so I'm especially grateful that I already have the flares installed.----------------Partly, I blame myself. I didn't read the description closely enough to see that the rivets were made of plastic. The fasteners / clips to hold them in the fender flare don't hold them tightly. They rattle. So, I briefly debated with myself about whether the major pain in the butt of returning these things would be worth the hassle. Then again, plastic won't rust... so I put them on (but not before gluing every one of the rivets with Gorilla glue).The other reason I bought these is because the description said these were made in the US. Gotta be better quality than stuff from China, right? We'll see...If you follow the directions for putting the rubber gasket on, it's not that big of a deal. I watched a few youtube videos, too, based on the number of comments left indicating what a pain it was to do this.Now that they're mounted, they look pretty good. The holes lined up pretty closely. I'll follow up on this review to see how they weather the winter.

The only thing i was disappointed in was the chrome plastic bolt heads. The small press fit washer type fasteners on the back that keep the the chrome plastic bolt heads on, some of them broke while pressing onto the chrome bolts. Half the chrome bolt heads were still loose once the chrome pieces were installed but I dabbed clear Lexel caulking around every one of them sealing them tight and allowed to dry before installing on truck. I also sprayed the fender flares with bedliner spray before putting all the pieces together and installing on the truck which made the flares look TREMENDOUSLY better. I installed these flares on a 2018 Ram crew cab truck. The flares do not fit "against" the top inside12o'clock position of the "fender-well" but they do fit against the rest of the fender well. Not noticeable at all. The finished product looks very good and MUCH cheaper than the higher priced brands. I would still recommend. Flares come with a flexible gasket bead that rest against the paint when installed. Took longer to assemble with what i did to them before installation than the install.

3 out of 4 flares fit pretty decent but not perfect. One just did not sit right on truck and the mounting holes were completely wrong. The messed up flare happened to be the last one I installed or else I would have never gotten past it. They looked good on the truck (as you can see in the pic), but in the end I took back off, sold them, and purchased a better quality flare (and yes, payed the price). Rivets are plastic and rattle. Rubber seal was a pain to install due to crappy directions. These flares are fine if you are willing to sacrifice perfect fit for a lower price. For me, that sacrifice wasn't worth it on a brand new truck. Tip on installing seal: Sticky side goes inside flare. Slide seal on in increments of 8 or so inches and then pull off red tape.

Installation was fairly easy, you will need to drill and tailor the flares to fit as the predrilled holes are approximately around where the bolts need to go. Also because it relies on tension pressure to seal the outer edge to the body this can leave pockets or gaps between the flair and the body. Other than those issues the plastic used is sturdy and gives a nice aggressive look. The bolts seem to be held in decently but only time will tell on how long they stay in place.

This is a great looking product. I can not believe the price on these. Didn't fit perfect but with a little work they look good. Not really meant to be painted as they are textured. They look great and are good sturdy material. Screw holes are in the wrong places and the center speed clips don't really line up the flare on the wheel well. The front driver side flare didn't fit the spot and had to be modified to fit .

Total junk!!! I was assured it would fit my 2012 dodge ram 1500 and it does not fit, not even close. The screws I had to glue on because they dont stay, and the weather stripping that had to be put on comes off and doesn't stay. Once I finally rigged the prep work so it wouldn't look terrible is when I went to go put it on and realized they dont fit! And lastly pieces were missing. Horrible quality and I'll be asking for a refund!

They looked ok and may look better on other trucks but the sticky strip melts if it gets really warm out and slides off of the plastic and may stick to truck or die color if truck is white. Maybe glue them to the fender flare.

Looked and great and easy install when I first purchased them. However year and half later they are already completely sun damaged. I expected the product to retain its finish for about 5 years before UV damage would take its toll

BUYER BEWARE - This did not come with ANY installation pieces, no rivets, no screws, nothing. Just 4 Fender flares, not even instructions. In fact, they only cover $3.64 on return shipping, so it is going to cost another $60-100 to send it back at least. I got burned big time on this.

Great look on the truck. Durable and rugged. Don't be fooled by the price. You're getting a quality product for a great cost.
