Needed a new starter rewind for my Craftsman leaf vacuum with 4.5hp Tecumseh engine. It was a perfect fit. It looks to be good quality, housing was metal and almost identical to my original starter rewind assembly. Installed with 2 screws just like the original. Although it didn't come with new screws, I just reused the original ones. I also carefully peeled off the Tecumseh logo sticker in center of original part and superglued it to the new one. Uncertain about the longevity of the new part but so far I've started it 5 times and no problems. So far so good. Will update later after putting some miles on it.

Toro 22” recycler mower from early 2000s. The pull cord fit exactly where it needed on the engine of the mower, but the trim piece that goes over top did not fit anymore. I made a couple of new holes in the plastic trim and got it over the top, not perfect but it will keep some of the grass out. Cord words perfect. I had to untie the handle to thread it through the top trim piece, then re- tie the loop knot. Couple extra steps but it works great and handle fits in my hand well.

This thing is garbage. Installed and started it one time and put it away. 3 weeks later I come back out to start it and rip the cord out and break a metal piece from the inside. Do not waste your time and money with these

It didn't fit my mower and the holes didn't line up. I had to cut a piece off to get the handle through the hole which I'm fine with. The screws didn't line up either. I got three back in but the one in the second picture is not flush. The screw to the left will not fit no matter what I did.However, in the end, with the adjustments it does work which is good enough for me and this old mower.**One year later update** I got the mower out and checked the fluids. Started it with no issues and kept going. I had to stop a few times and restart it. On the third one the cord came right out. This is probably a decent fix (band aid) for the season but don't expect it to last. It loses a star.

Took forever to get the part and it didn't fit right so I had to customize it by Drilling holes in a different spot for the screws so the cover of my lawn mower would fit over it.
