I am excited to dive into canning. The introduction and recipes help me to feel confident at my first go! I also contacted the author to help with a few measuring conversions (canning in quarts instead of pint jars for a few recipes) and she was gracious to help me. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone interested in getting into canning! There are both waterbath and pressure canning recipes for beginners!! It also includes a wide range of recipes that you would want to begin stalking your pantry with. Perfect! Thank you!

Bought this for my wife who has been canning for over 50 years. She wanted some basic recipes that she could add her own ingredients to, and she said this book was perfect. She said it had clear instructions with simple everyday ingredients. She said everyone, new canners or old should keep this a reference to refer to when needed.

Several jellies, jams and pie fillings great for gifting! Someone used the strawberry preserves for a baby shower and served it over baked brie. She said she got so many compliments! I also make dill pickles for my husband every year. We love using vegetables and dill from our garden. Recipes are classic and full of flavor!🤌

I got this book because I am new to canning and I am excited to try some of these recipes. However, I wish she would of included how long to let the items set in the jar before eating for optimal taste and how long the average shelf life is.
