I LOVE this tool. I couldn't believe how great it felt on my back, legs, shoulders, and even hands. Even without exerting a ton of pressure, I could feel the tool working into my muscles, and I felt myself relax almost immediately. The tool is easy to hold--slightly awkward at first, but I quickly got used to it.The only downside is that it is incredibly fragile. My five-year old got a hold of the tool and accidentally dropped it on our wood floor. A piece of the jade broke off instantly. I was so disappointed and tried to keep using the tool anyway, but the edge was so sharp I just couldn't.So be careful with this thing! It works wonderfully to soothe sore muscles, but it is very breakable.I received a discounted tool in exchange for an honest review.

Works very well. My clients tolerate it well. Much cheaper than a $400 to $600 single Graston instrument!!! I know because I have a set of six Graston instruments that cost me $2400, at discount.

**Update 9/14/17**Seller contacted me after seeing my initial review. Very nice man, offered to replace it at no extra cost and insisted the tool broke so easy because it was compromised during the shipping process. I received the replacement a couple days ago and was able to use it on my husband's feet last night. I can't speak to the durability just yet...time will tell. But it held up well during the massage and I did not drop it this time. It's hard to hold on to with oil on your hands, but I think any Gua Sha tool would be, regardless of what it is made of. I do like the shape because it fits the curves of the bottom of the feet really well. I'll update my review again after a few more uses to speak more on the durability.***************************************************I got home from work at 8:15pm today, excited that this was on the front door step, because my husband's plantar fasciitis is getting really bad and we saw some tutorials saying this tool was great for massage therapy. Opened the box, its packaged great, and I'm excited to try it out. By 8:35, I have his feet lotioned up, ready to try this thing and it slips out of my moisturized hand onto the carpet, the CARPET, and snaps in two. So while I hoped this would have helped his feet, its honestly too delicate for any reasonable massage of any sort. If it broke on carpet, I imagine it will easily break from pressure during a massage. So it may have helped, I'll never know, but it needs to be made of a sturdier material.

I have had similar treatment at my chiropractor's visits and loved the results, but needed more than one treatment per week. I was getting kind of desperate with pain, so I decided to check Amazon to see if I could find a Graston technique type of tool... then I found Leosense and decided to try it.BEST purchase I've made in a long time and I've been using it in multiple areas of my body. (I train daily for triathlons, marathons and something is always sore!)Also, I dropped and broke my tool the first day I had it and they replaced it IMMEDIATELY. I have never had that type of customer service---outstanding!Also, the jade just feels great in your hand as opposed to plastic or metal.One more thing, I downloaded the PDF and it is also incredibly useful and easy to navigate.

This is the second leosense gua sha tool I purchased as I find it great to have one in my travel kit and my wife has the other one. These tools are solid! and curves are shaped right to allow good muscle contact. Use it by first applying, say, coconut oil, "scraping" or deep massaging affected muscles etc. Finish off with CBD salve or oil. Customer service is great! As indicated I emailed and asked for the manual - it arrived almost immediately - a 100 page pdf with color photos, illustrations, text on how to use the tool. May well include everything you ever wanted to or need to know about gua sha.And frankly, leosense ought to charge more for this jade tool!

I purchased this Jade Gua Sha scraping massage tool after a co-worker used hers on me. The difference I felt on my body where the tool was used was awesome. I have had a similar reaction with my massage clients. Their description of how they felt were comments like skin felt cooler, lighter, more free. I am still learning the uses of this amazing tool, but I believe it softens the fascia which then allows the lymphatic system to flow better, circulation to increase and nerve conduction to improve, all by products of good myo-fascial work, while saving your hands and thumbs.
