Civilian Publishing Kalimaatee Al-Oola: Learning My First Arabic Words

I bought every children's Arabic book on Amazon. These are undoubtedly my favorites. I speak a little Arabic but don't read it so the Arabic in English letters was SO SO SOOOOO helpful. I even was able to pick up a few new words myself. All the books by this author and illustrator are very elegant and beautiful. These books are well done!

I absolutely love the graphics and words. I was so sad when it came and I noticed that it was damaged in different areas of the book. I reached out to their team and they went ahead and sent me a new one that should be arriving soon. Their willingness to help me in this situation can’t be beat. Overall, I’m so happy with how modernized the book is. It’s extremely easy to read and follow along! Will definitely be making more purchases of these books very soon!

Great book but doesn't really work to teach a child how to read in Arabic. The words are pronounced in English. For example a picture of a dog has the word in English "kalb". Naturally for a child who reads English, it's way easier to read "kalb" than the real arabic word. I wish there's an edition without the English words. I'll cover them with tape. Otherwise very well made.

I bought this book after buying their colors shapes and numbers book. They’re simply stunning board books. Easy, organized and this book in particular is PACKED with content. I love them and they’ve become coffee table books. The artist and designer is truly outstanding.

We got all 3 book by Civilian Publishing and they’re all Excellent quality. Graphics are tastefully done. My son is only 2 months so I’m just reading the books and putting them infront of him. Can’t wait to have him start learning some Arabic words

Chock full of words. I like that some of the words are the less used words ie: Camel is ابل, but is almost always taught as جمل. It adds additional words to ones vocabulary. A+ from me!!!
