Weighing just 1.95 pounds, it features a fast action blank for quick hook sets, a tactical matte black finish for stealth, oversized single foot guides for smooth line flow, and a balanced design with a down-locking reel seat and composite fighting butt. Epoxy-coated ferrules and guides enhance durability, making it a reliable choice for serious anglers seeking performance and finesse. ## Description Cortland’s Nymph series fly rods were specifically designed for modern nymphing techniques. Built on a super light graphite blank which dampens and recovers quickly for exceptional feel. The low reflective, matte black finish allows for an extremely stealthy approach while providing an addition layer of protection. The down-locking reel seat combined with the composite fighting butt allows for exceptional balance and fast hook sets. Nymph Series fly rods feature over-sized light wire single foot guides for easier passage of fly line, monofilament and knots. All ferrules and guides are coated with highly durable epoxy, resisting cracks, flex stress and excessive knots. Finished with alignment dots, size specific rod bags and a protective cordura rod tube. Review: Great, versatile rod - Got the 10’ 6” 3wt for euronymphing. Pleasantly surprised to discover it is an excellent rod for fly line casting also. Fifty foot roll casts are easy. It delivers smooth, accurate dry fly & light dry dropper presentations up to 60’ and beyond with a marvelous, moderate feel. I often use a modified Belgian sidearm cast for dry droppers, and it lays these out straight and effortlessly. I did not expect to get such a great all-purpose rod for $300. Excellent graphite & build quality, solid down-locking reel seat, close stripping guide to avoid line sag, beautiful cork. The butt is 4-5 wt size. Really impressed, glad I picked up one of these! Review: Cortland Nymph Rod - At first observation, looks good with a totally stealth look which is needed for euro fishing. Downlocking seat, good feel and flex. Will test shortly but for the price, one of the best out there. ## Features - - 4 Piece Graphite Blank With Matte Finish - - Anodized Down-locking Reel Seat - - Premium Ferrule & Guide Epoxy - - Over-sized Light Wire Single Foot Guides - - Cork Composite Fighting Butt ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B083HLPDS5 | | Action | Fast | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #707,561 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #1,184 in Fishing Rod & Reel Combos | | Brand | Cortland | | Brand Name | Cortland | | Color | TACTICAL BLACK | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 5 Reviews | | Fishing Rod Power | Medium | | Fishing Technique | Fly | | Grip Type | Fighting Butt | | Handle Material | Cork | | Included Components | Nymph Series Fly Rod 4-Pc 10.5 FT / 3wt | | Item Length | 10.5 feet | | Item Weight | 2.2 pounds | | Line Weight | 2wt, 3wt, 4wt | | Manufacturer | Cortland Line | | Manufacturer Part Number | 665507 | | Material | Graphite | | Material Type | Graphite | | Model Name | Nymph Series Fly Rod | | Model Number | Nymph Series Fly Rod | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 4 | | Size | 10.5ft 3wt | | Target Species | Fish | | Tension Supported | Medium | | UPC | 043372665507 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 3 Year Manufacturer | ## Product Details - **Brand:** NYMPH SERIES - **Material:** Graphite - **Color:** Tactical Matte Finish - **Number of Pieces:** 1 - **Fishing Technique:** Fly ## Images ![Cortland Nymph Series Fly Rod, 4-Pc - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51J91V1G0BL.jpg) ![Cortland Nymph Series Fly Rod, 4-Pc - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/517twMLy3kL.jpg) ![Cortland Nymph Series Fly Rod, 4-Pc - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51qL+3FaHlL.jpg) ![Cortland Nymph Series Fly Rod, 4-Pc - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/819CWOy6uWL.jpg) ![Cortland Nymph Series Fly Rod, 4-Pc - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/615W979YDRL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great, versatile rod *by J***N on June 17, 2022* Got the 10’ 6” 3wt for euronymphing.
