The only thing that bugged me was, the vendor didn't ship to the Uk, where I reside. Got round it but what a performance!!. "RISK" is a game played in the Uk and as popular as "Monopoly". The pieces sold here are not available at all in the Uk, but their quality, detail and interchangability for several gaming situations makes this unfortunate. Would ask that the vendor reconsiders their decision to ship only with thin the U.S.A.

These have held up great and there are a ton of them!! He plays with them daily!

**Q: What is the point of buying these versus buying a whole new original risk set? quality? quantity?**
A: If you are playing a full game--not using the "cease fire" card--you may need additional men to keep the game going...at least we do.  

This is why some people buy the extra pieces: wanting to play a full game, don't like the colors from the original pieces provided, missing pieces, need replacements, or original pieces were too similar in color such as the blue and gray or the blue and green--some game pieces were not easy to tell apart.

Figures are OF superb quality, very detailed. In fact that good they could be used as pieces in a wargaming project, for both Napoleonics and the war of 1812. so, top marks for product.
