The nike air zoom pegasus 35 women's running shoe has been redesigned to be incredibly snappy, both in appearance and performance. The full-length zoom air unit and the bevelled heel work in synergy to achieve excellent responsiveness, while the engineered mesh and flywire cables ensure maximum stability in acceleration. 1

Ankle dips awkwardly low, lack of support
I am running a marathon in April and I needed new shoes to train and run in. I have always run in Nikes, although lately I haven't loved the way they look. I tried a few other brands (Brooks Running, Asics, New Balance) but they didn't feel right to me, so I went back to Nike and settled on the Nike Pegasus 35, thinking it was the best option. I wore them once and they seemed okay, but I've just put them on for a second time and I can't help but feel that the dips by the ankle are very low. It feels like there isn't a ton of support around my ankle, and it actually feels as though the back of my foot is going to lift up out of the shoe when I run. It's really frustrating. Because it seems so shallow, I doubt you would be able to fit any sort of orthotic insert into this shoe and be able to wear it comfortably. And, because the sides dip low around the ankle, any socks, even ones meant to be "no show" stick out. I also don't love that the tongue of the shoe is super long. It sticks up and hits the top of the front of my ankle when I run. Overall the whole ankle area of this shoe is awkward. I'm worried that I'm going to develop ankle problems from training in them without stability, but at this point I've already worn them and can't afford a second pair.

Air Zoom is the bomb diggity!
I’ve only had these for a couple of weeks but so far so great! The shoelaces are way too short though. But otherwise they are pretty awesome. I’ve been dealing with Runner’s knee on and off, and I honestly think running in these shoes is helping it get better. I know that sounds crazy, but I’m telling you...it’s true. They are super cushiony but not too much. And I typically wear an 8.5 in women’s ascics and I got an 8.5 in these and they fit great. This air zoom stuff is the bomb diggity!

Warning: bad style changes
I’ve worn multiple versions of this shoe without problems. However, these shoes have style changes that I dislike and created pain running, so much so that I just bought a pair of the prior version to use going forward. Changes: narrower, tongue is huge so it hits your shin, uncomfortable pointed heel, and I don’t know what else they did that made it so my hip, knee, and shins hurt. I tried, hoping they’d break in, but no go. Pictures are next to my 34’s.

WAY too tight
I was so excited to try these after reading how comfortable and good for runners knee they were. I have regular width feet and these were so snug the sides of my feet were curving - worst run of my life!! I thought they might get better after a few minutes but I had to take them off and walk in my socks a mile home in pain. I have always been a size 9 and have never felt a shoe so small that it instantly makes your feet go numb. I thought I might order a size up, but after having to pay to return them, I decided to buy a different shoe all together. Maybe if you have super narrow feet these are for you.

Pegasus 35 Very Comfortable Shoes
They are comfortable and pretty at the same time! I ordered my normal size (8) and also a 1/2 size up (just in case they ran small). My normal size 8 fit perfectly. I had to return the other pair. I find my normal size still has a bit of toe room so that running does not make my big toe hurt. Love these shoes. I actually just received my own "build your own design" pair and love them as well.

Extremely tight compared all previous Pegasus
Way too tight compared with the fit of all previous Nike Pegasus over the past 5 years. They squeeze your feet and put pressure on your toenails, extremely painful after a full day of wearing them. At first I thought it was just because they were new so I tried just wearing them once or twice a week at first but they never loosened up, and you can't even loosen them with the laces because the tongue is sewn in all the way up. Very disappointing for the price I paid that the product is so drastically different from the shoes I'd been buying for years, and I can't even return them now that I've worn them.

Faulty goods
Purchased these Trainers wore them twice and the covering on the sole started to come away. Contacted the dealer and they first offered a £10 refund. I pursued this with them and they said the goods were not faulty when I received them. I challenged them and said you would not expect NIke trainers to start falling apart after your first two short runs on them. They were not cheap neither. They Then agreed a 50% refund because I didn’t have the box as I’d thrown it away not expecting I would be returning them. They also suggested to glue the covering back down. I am appalled and just want to warn anyone purchasing from this dealer. Very unsatisfactory I’m not one for writing negative reviews but Please be aware if you purchase from this supplier.

Such a shame
First time being let down by Nike. 6 months later and they are literally falling apart. My wife walks my daughter to school in these (2 mile round trip) twice a week. She’s been for a run 10 times (3 miles at a time). In total she’s covered about 100 miles and they are literally falling apart. Such a shame as I’ve always held Nike in a high regard.

Very comfy and pretty
My old, very worn Nike trainers broke after a significant mileage and I needed to find new trainers. I didn't want to go to the shops so decided to take a risk and order new Nike trainers in the same size. I was not disappointed - they fit perfectly, are very comfortable and beautiful colour.

It’s a NO!!
It’s actually not small, it’s squashing my feet until they numb. Cannot do more than 5K in them and just want to throw them away. My feet size is UK3 and I ordered a size 4, still the most uncomfortable Nike shoes I’ve ever bought. Practically useless. Pegasus 34 is way better than this. It’s a “Don’t but!”

Perfect fit and very comfortable
I have very narrow feet and require running shoes that fit and can be properly tightened so that my feet don't slide, especially during long runs (15+ km). These trainers fit perfectly and keep my feet in place throughout my runs. The material is soft so I haven't had any blisters. Very happy I bought them.
