If your laundry space has only a 220-240v appliance outlet, then you will need to buy an RV or appliance plug splitter plus a 220/240 to 120v splitter (a 3-4 prong appliance outlet is really just two 120v circuits spliced together). This is how I hooked up the pump in my laundry closet.
