Bach Original Flower Remedies, Heather - Empathize & Listen - Natural Homeopathic Flower Essence for Emotional Balance - Vegan, Gluten Free, Sugar Free - 20mL Dropper

I just wanted to share that I used the Bach "heather" remedy for a cat that i rescued who came with an INTENSE meowing problem. He had lived in the woods and was overwhelmed by being in a house so it was nonstop meowing. I did the usual behavioral things...narrowed his territory down to one room to just get used to that before slowly adding any more rooms. I did give him Bach's Rescue Remedy in his food as it is for stress and that helped a lot but the meowing continued.,..so i looked up Heather and it was recommended for barking dogs and meowing cats. I added that to the Rescue remedy in the wet food and the effect has been pretty amazing. I am not saying he doesnt meow but now it just when i am getting his food ready and he's hungry or the more normal meows cats do which is fine with me; lets me know what he needs but that obcessive being overwhelmed meow is pretty much gone. He has been here almost 8 months now so part of it too is that he is getting used to the idea of a home and being inside. I love him and I love the Bach remedies! Worth a try, folks.

I got this for my 2 year old Greater Swiss Mtn Barker, I mean dog ;-) I didn't want to use a bark collar & it's not that I don't want him to bark at all just not all the time, at everything! He is a very large dog & everytime we fill his water bowl I put 4-5 drops in it & I can honestly say it has helped.

I used this rememdy in conjunction with Bach's rescue remedy for a cat i adopted who had never been in a house before; found in the woods and he meowed nonstop. I very slowly introduced him to the house, one room at a time, over a four month timespan..helped cut down on some of the meowing but when i added heather/rescue remedy to his wet food, i noticed a big change. He still meows but at appropriate times. I would recommend this for this problem; it has no guarantees but it really helped in my case. You have to figure out what other things help calm the cat down and what is triggering the meowing also. i definately think it is a helpful remedy.

I looked forward to receiving the heather essence which I know I would have given a good review. Instead, I received some natural hair color. I am not sure if it is worth my time to go through the hassles of returning the hair color. I may look elsewhere the next time I consider purchasing the essences from the internet.

I bought this because it seems I can never stop talking when my husband is around. But after taking it for a week, with little effect, it dawned on me- what if I'm not the problem? What if HE is?!? After all, James doesn't really participate in conversations. When I try to draw him out of his shell, he barks that his "DAMN ELBOW ITCHES!" or something of the sort, then goes back to eating. So I told him I was going to give him some medication for his self-absorption and he didn't object.Amazingly, it worked. His comments became sweeter, more frequent & empathetic. I began to feel he was actually present, inhabiting a shared experience, not locked in a dark world all his own. It has now been working for two weeks. Any time he starts to seem a little locked up & mannish, I just give him a couple more drops.I cannot wait to try more essences on him! I may be just a few experiments away from creating the Perfect Husband!
