CAP Barbell Gym Chalk, 1 lb

Huge quantity for a good price. Can't comment on the quality as this is the first time I've purchased and used chalk, but it seemed to work well in the gym and helped me achieve a better grip as someone who is very sweaty and does not use straps for grip.

I use CAP for my ASMR. I absolutely love cap gym chalk! I’ve ordered it a few times with minimal inconsistencies in the chalk. It’s always buttery and crunchy🥰😍

I didn't think there'd be a need to review chalk, but when I bought this I saw a surprising number of reviews using this chalk for odd stuff and complaining about it. It's perfectly fine, standard gym chalk. I use it at the gym. It does what it should. Exactly what you'd expect.

I got a large supply of lifting chalk for a very reasonable price. The chalk blocks can be a bit brittle, they tend to split and break a little bit, but once I modified how I was using them I find they last a long time and do a great job of increasing my grip on the bar during heavy pulls.

I use it for rock climbing. I'm definitely not picky when it comes to chalk. I'm sure the expensive stuff feels a little nicer, but this stuff is so cheap I just cake it on my hands and it works great. I don't feel bad at all when my chalk bag spills.

I've used other chalk brands before. This one isn't bad, but it isn't great. It does a fantastic job of coating my hands, and it offers the same grip as other chalk products. The reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because this brand is the most fragile I've used. My last block lasted me almost an entire year. It took a little extra rubbing to get a good application, granted, but I'm talking maybe an extra few seconds at most. These blocks have been breaking all over. The first one I took out lasted maybe 2 months with regular use. I still have about 60% of it, but it's in 8 pieces of varying sizes and a handful of loose powder. Whatever they bound it with is just not that good. This is an issue for me because I do my best not to make a mess with the chalk in the gym, and having pieces split off and creating a large amount of dust/powder is no good. The blocks are very cheap, though, so I wouldn't consider them a bad value, or a bad product. I'd just call it an "okay" product.

This chalk has a good medium as far as being to soft or to hard. I think this chalk breaks down nicely for what I use it for. The box I got did have a few blocks that were a bit softer and fluffier than the others. It has a nice snap. It coats my hands nicely. I would buy again
