No more sludge in your French Press Coffee
I like the richness and body in a cup of French press coffee, but don't like the sludge. I read about the Espro's unique double filter baskets in NYT Wirecutter and decide to retire my current aging French press and try the Espro. It definitely works as advertised; it makes excellent sludge-free coffee. It is a bit more difficult to clean because there are two baskets to wash and rinse, but they click on and off with ease, so it not objectionable. The stainless double-walled version that I purchased is also very attractive and keeps a full pot of coffee warm until it is finished. All in all, I am very pleased.

No coffee mud!!!
I have several original French press coffee makers but they glass so they cool down quickly and they only make enough for 3 cups. So despite the cost, I decided to get this Espro E6 French Press with double filter for Christmas. With family coming for the holidays, I needed a way to make more coffee. This Espro did not dissappoint! It made enough coffee for everyone, the coffee stayed hot and there was NO COFFEE MUD with the last cup of coffee. The double filter is a game changer for French Press coffee. And the stainless steel container looks good, cleans easily and keeps the coffee hot! Love it and highly recommend it.

I didn't receive what I purchased, they don't seem to care.
Looks like a nice French press, but mine was missing the purge handle; I have been communicating for a week; 5 days ago , DKK Brands support asked for a picture which I sent, and since then crickets.

Cleanup nightmare
The good: it looks nice. Build quality is good. It works and the French press coffee it brews is good. Slightly smoother than my bodum French press, but still offers the full body we all love about French press. So yay! The bad: I got this for two reasons, 1) improved heat retention and 2) ease of clean-up afterwards. The heat retention is somewhat better than my bodum glass carafe. I can brew coffee, go to the gym, come back and what’s remaining is warm. So that’s a solid B. Cleanup is a complete joke. This is by far the most obnoxious and annoying thing to clean I’ve ever had in my kitchen. The engineers clearly gave zero thoughts about making the cleaning experience efficient or pleasant. It keeps all this extra water in the device that you’re not supposed to drink. Which means cleanup is a splashy mess full of coffee grounds spilling everywhere. It’s also almost impossible to rinse grounds out of the filter containers the way it’s shaped. I hate this coffee maker. I now have a cleanup nightmare to deal with every day in my kitchen. Thanks nespro for this awful daily ordeal.

Great Press!
I was searching for a new way to brew coffee after years using Nesspresso. I used a a Bodum from Target in Hawaii for 3 months (cheap, not great) but I really enjoyed pressed coffee in restaurants in the past. This press has 3 key features that separate it from any I have owned in the passed. The double filter really works! Almost zero sediment but still has the full flavor and a small amount of heavy coffee density you look for in a press cup of coffee. Second the press is double walled insulating the coffee keeping it warm for about an hour. Last, if you enjoy elegant design the press really is easy to handle and looks great on the counter.

I’ll never go back to any other brew method
i’ve used French presses in the past, but was always put off by the amount of sediment that would end up in my coffee. This press produces a clean brew with unparalleled taste. it’s also one of the only insulated French presses that’s out there. I had the new Miir press but returned it as it’s not ready for prime time. This press is far superior..

Sleek and elegant
As a very new-comer to the French brew method (second day!), I feel that my comments are premature. I am thoroughly committed to convenience, so my tolerance for all the fuss remains to be seen. However, I can say that I am very impressed with the look and feel of the Espero. It's the kind of thing that makes you go "Ahhhh". It is sleek and elegant (mine is buffed/black) and very soundly built. I had to give it four stars on "easy to use" and "easy to clean" because by its very nature it is neither. The whole point is to involve you in the brewing process starting with the grinding of the beans. Then there is the boiling and pouring of water at the prescribed temperature. And don't foget to time the brewing phase at exactly 4 minutes! Yes, the filters are cleverly engineered so that your sipping experience is free of grit and grinds but is it all worth it? I think yes but not if you if you yearn for a quick cup of java at some point in the middle of the day.

Super Cute Modern French Press for Boat Life
We upgraded from our IKEA one to this one and love it! The double filter is awesome and makes drinking our coffee a better experience. Aesthetically the French press goes exactly with our kitchen. The handle is heavy duty and we just are super happy with this French press. We were originally looking for one where you can see the water level but we couldn’t find anything that wasn’t glass. For 24/7 travel on a boat that seats back and forth we had to go with something that wouldn’t break if we dropped it or if it fell over. This was it and it’s super cute, Crate and Barrel (where I saw it first) even carry this product line in their stores. We trust the quality and we’re happy we could save on shipping by purchasing through Amazon instead.
