A very good vegetable grater. It is made of high-quality material, strong and stable, with a nice size. Very sharp. It washes well in the dishwasher and does not get dark or rust. You could say it’s perfect. I have nothing bad to say about it. Buy it you won’t regret it. I recommend it!

This stainless steel box grater is excellent quality and feels very durable. The four sides give you the perfect options for fine or coarse grating, slicing, and shredding. The handle is comfortable to hold, and it doesn’t slip while using it. It’s great for cheese, carrots, potatoes, and other fruits and vegetables. Best of all, it’s dishwasher safe, so cleanup is quick and easy. Also, I like the shiny modern look. Highly recommend this for any home cook!

This grater is very well made with graters that are sharp and do a great job on both cheese and vegetables. This is the best low cost grater that I have ever used.

Great thing overall, except for the slicer on the side. Mine seem to be completely blunt, as if they just forgot to sharpen it. Otherwise sturdy and easy to use and wash.

Just as described. I love the rubber on the bottom for using it on the counter to keep it from sliding. It has 4 graters for different foods. The handle is nice and big and makes it easy to hold when shredding. My last one said it was stainless and starting rusting after just a few months. Hoping this one doesn't.

For years I have used a badly rusted hand grater and finally decided to buy a new one. After having an exceptional customer service experience with Spring Chef, I decided to replace my old grater with a new XL sized, stainless steel box grater that they sell. The grater arrives in easy to remove packaging and wrapped in plastic wrap. It is built very solidly. The handle feels very solid and strong. It’s a bit bigger than I anticipated, but that is not a bad thing, and it should be able to grate up a lot of food before needing to be emptied. The picture of it I posted shows the grater next to a 24 ounce stainless steel tumbler for size comparison purposes. Like most box graters, it has different blades on each side for different types of food processing with a large grater, medium grater, zester, and slicer. The bottom of the grater has a rubber covering on the bottom that keeps the grater from sliding around while using it on a counter or plate. The covering is removable if desired for cleaning, although the grater is dishwasher safe. I don’t think there should be need to remove the rubber ring much, if at all, to keep it clean. I used it to grate some sharp cheddar cheese this morning, and it was easy to clean up by hand. Overall, I’m very pleased with this box grater. It is a welcome replacement for my old, rusty hand grater. Spring Chef has already demonstrated to me how well they stand behind their products, and I have no doubt they will stand equally well behind this one.

way better than the old one I was using. it is very sturdy and very sharp. I used it often for cutting my veggies for my salads. I would buy it again especially for the price.

(Here's my original review, but it gets better after this.) I wish I'd paid attention to the dimensions stated in the grater's description. My fault, I know. But I'm very disappointed in the height of this grater. I could store my old one upright on any of the shelves in my cabinet. However, this one is too tall. I wish it were just an inch shorter! As far as function, this grater is very sturdy and seems to be well made. So far I've just grated raw potatoes and hard cheese. Worked well for those. But practicality is just as important as function for me. And it's not very practical to have a huge grater that I can't conveniently store. Be sure to measure your storage space before you buy!! REVISED REVIEW 2/28/19: Spring Chef Brian Davis addressed my concerns swiftly and satisfactorily. I'm giving this item one more star based on the excellent customer service and the fact that this is a good, sturdy grater that worked very well on the cheese and raw potatoes that I've tried so far. If it were an inch shorter, I would LOVE it. REVISED REVIEW 2/7/20: I now LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this grater. I found someplace else to store my grater, so height is no longer an issue. After using graters that my family and friends have, I appreciate this one so much more. Some of theirs seemed awkward or flimsy. As I said before, this one is very sturdy, and it has a comfortable handle to hold onto while you grate. Since I started Keto, I've been buying and grating chunk cheese instead of buying shredded cheese (which has fillers, and therefore carbs). I can grate a big block in no time. I highly recommend this grater!!
