My daughter-in-law broke the original and was afraid I couldn't find a replacement. I searched and found this one. It was perfect I was happy to find it. It looks just like the original one.

Nice shade
Shade came in and I must say, I love how it's packaged. You could drop it off a building (don't do that) and it would probably be fine.I like the semi deep shade of green it has, reminds me of a banker's lamp, this was actually a replacement and upgrade for a gentleman.

looks good, feels vintage and does not crack when you use it with an actual oil lamp
very important to know....some of these shades meant to replace vintage oil lamp shades can not actually handle being used on an oil lamp and will crack into a million pieces if you ever light the lamp. I dealt with that previously so I was wary of this one and ready toreturn it immediately if it cracked with heat. I did not have that problem with this, it is a genuine replacement part that can be used with a real oil lamp .

It was not emerald green
It looked handsome and sturdy. However, it was blue-green, leaning to the bluish side. Returned for refund (thank you Aladdin Mantle Company).
