This is what happened when an ember landed on it. A small fire, carpet ruined and the product not only caught fire but also melted! This is a serious safety concern. The product is not only unfit for purpose but dangerous. Do not use this please!! Unfortunately 0 stars are not an option!

I bought this to give my lounge carpet some protection from my wood burning stove when the door is open for re fuelling as on occasions some wood popping and spitting has resulted in embers hitting hearth etc. Good size seems to be good quality so far

This product was neither fire proof our anti slip the first time I lit the fire Avery small embler fell onto it and it burned straight thought I will be applying for a refund

Just what we needed

The first night we used this an ember fell out of the woodburning stove on to it and burned a hole straight through. Returned for a refund.

Very thin and not used as a daily rug as looks naff only bring it out when we have a fire
