Best cane
I have purchased lots of canes over the last 5 years. Lots of different styles and claims of performance at various prices but none have been the perfect cane until now. What makes it perfect? No. 1 is that it stays put when I lean it up against something. And that has been my no.1 pet peeve with the majority of the canes - they were always "dropping" and bending down to pick them up was a major pain (literally & physically) for me. I believe the reason it stays put has to do with the design and material used in the handle. No. 2 is that the cane feels very strong and sturdy. I had gotten to the point where I didn't feel safe walking with just a cane until I happened upon this one. Now I feel great about using just a can vs. only a walker. I was so thrilled with the cane that I ordered another one within 4 hours after receiving this one and then trying it out in different scenarios. And they are available in some pretty cool colors. I was lucky to get this one at a discounted price, but my second one in a different color was at the regular price - but still an extremely fair and inexpensive cost. You can't go wrong with this cane.

Pink - not Rose
Just a note. I ordered this thinking the color was rose like my iPhone. It really is pink and not rose gold as the picture seems. This is a replacement for a blue Hugo cane I’ve used for two years

Rose cane adjusts lower and is for up to 300lbs
I like this Hugo cane very much. It has more holes and allows for adjustment for shorter people under 5 feet. It is strong for up to 300lbs. Feels very comfortable on hand. The color is a mauve with a richness to it. I bought the carex black cane as well and it is not the same. At lowest height the two canes differ. The black cane does not go as low. See image.

Ok, but grip could be more comfortable.
Works ok, has decent adjustment for height, and I like the color. The grip is more comfortable than some, but not as comfortable as the gel grip I have on another cane, so I tend to use the other cane more frequently. I also don't like the big "HUGO" logo printed on the side; it looks tacky. I assumed it was a label that could be removed but when I got it I found out that it was printed right onto the cane. Oh well. I still use it around the house but rarely take it out with me.

The handle is nicely cushioned, and the strap is a really nice ...
I purchased this for my elderly mother and she loves it! The handle is nicely cushioned, and the strap is a really nice feature. She's had other brands with straps, but this one is far better in that you can replace the strap easily if it gets broken or lost. I'd order this again for her.

Worth it!!
This is my 2nd Hugo cane. I love them! They are very durable and sturdy. I only use it when in unfamiliar areas or having an off balance day. Stands up to my occasional falls without debts or scratches.

Good cane but doesn't fold
Perfectly good cane but I later decided to buy a truly folding cane. This one can be shortened but it is still inconvenient in some situations.

Sturdy and good rubber foot
I love this cane. It’s sturdy and has a good rubber foot. It’s not a good cane if you plan on putting a lot of weight on it because the handle is not very well padded and it can be a bit hard on the hand after a while, but for me it’s great because I just need to put a bit of weight on it and get more balance so it does the job well. The adjustment for height is good and there is a knob to screw it tight once the hight is selected and the pin locked in place so it’s very sturdy. The shape of the handle is ergonomic. The important thing to remember is to hold the cane on the opposite side of the injured leg and move it along the injured leg. There are a few video on youtube showing the correct way to walk with a cane. It’s good quality and well made.
