Wok POWER!!!!
This burner assembles easy as pie. The height is pretty good for cooking (unless you are real tall) so that you do not need to bend down to work a wok with it. Hot? You better believe it! It will turn my carbon steel wok glowing red (way too hot) in no time if I do not watch it. It will reach proper cooking temp for wok hay (breath- or spirit- of the wok) in about a minute. I cook large meals for six to ten folks on this thing. It handles everything from fried rice to stir fried dishes with aplomb. Sturdy? It is absolutely rock solid leaving no fear that it will tip over or collapse from a heavy pot. Adjustable? yep. you can turn it down to simmer if you like but I prefer to make giant flames from stir frying to scare the neighbors. Versatile? indubitably. Did I mention that it can melt a pot of lead (Pb) in no time flat? If this ever gets stolen, I will order a replacement right away.

Lots of heat here
Used this for the first time on our camping trip. It was easy to put together. Took about 15 minutes and just needed some pliers and a screwdriver (just used my multi-tool) and it worked great. I used it with a grill pan and so I had to take off the wind protectors and so I needed to be really careful as I moved the pan around so that it wouldn't fall off, but with the wind screen and just using a single burner, it worked great. It puts out a lot of heat. We plan on using this a lot for doing canning later in the summer so we don't have to heat up the whole house.

Nice height for wok cooking. You will need a wok stand to keep those flames from burning you, but good btu's!
My husband likes to cook, and he loves to cook in his woks, so we got this burner. With some modifications, it is working out to be a good wok burner. He likes the wind baffle, and it keeps his wok stand perfectly centered so it doesn't move around too much. Has a long enough hose so the propane tank can be placed far enough away but still within arms reach to control the flames. The legs are stable and collapsable if you need that option. Very durable metal and good paint work, we leave ours outside and no signs of rusting yet.It is rather sooty and it is rather difficult to get that highly desirable blue flame to come out of the burner. He had another outdoor burner which produced less soot, but this one is so much more sootier. You have to really clean off the bottom of the woks very well before washing them or else you risk getting soot all over the place. And let me tell you the soot is like water proof, you have to wipe it off, it won't wash off easily.

Good Cooker, Couple defects...
We do a lot of cooking outside and almost all the functions in our home are catered by ourselves, be it a party of 10 or 100. I was tired of bending ( with my back problems it's real tough ) over to check the food with a 1 feet high stove and was looking for a nice high cooker.Found this, ordered and I can't be more happy. Now I don't have to bend and easy to manage. The stands are sturdy and can hold a lot of stuff ( max I had was 30 pounds of food ).Three stars are because of these issues - one of the legs are bend inside and it feels like the cooker will tip over any time. I tried to pull it outside but the legs are attached real strong. - the place where you connect the gas pipeline feels real flimsy and feels like it might fall down if you try to tighten it.I'm still using it just because I don't want to pack it back and return - well being lazy comes with these issues.

Got a wok? Get this! Like to fry fish or Crab boil? Get it!
Got this to wok cook since my traditional range does not have the flame to properly season and heat up a wok. Works amazing for this task and also does an amazing job for fish fry and crab/crawfish boils in deep large capacity pots.Just a note for wok users: You must get a wok ring to use this properly. While a wok will sit on the steel grate, the best heat you get is when you space the wok away from the flame a few inches. Will heat up and cook better.

Good for small to mid-sized brews, works with natural gas
For the price, this is great. I needed a mid-sized cooker for outdoor use in order to brew 3 to 7 gallon batches of beer. If you're looking to do big brews, this isn't your burner. For small to mid sized, it's great. The height really makes a difference since I'm not working with a giant pot. Just make sure that the base will fit on the roughly 14 inch wide cooking surface.I also converted this to natural gas by drilling the orifice and buying some hose adapters. Its an easy process, I didn't even do any special research, I just drilled a few times with progressively larger bits until the flame burned clean and intensely. For me, the orifice only needed to be sized up by about half the original diameter, so go ahead and be slow and careful when doing this by up-sizing the smallest amount possible each time (it's a lot easier to drill a hole bigger than smaller, right?). Anyways, like I said, burns clean and hot for me.Only complaint: why oh why do you paint the dang burner surface? I wouldn't have any soot on my pot if it weren't for the off-gassing of the dang black paint right by the center of the flame. Oh well.

Burner works fine but the manufacture is poor at best
Burner works fine but the manufacture is poor at best. The slots holding up the wind guard is very brittle. One arrived broken. The grill grid above the burner is uneven and consequently whatever pot/pan U use will not sit evenly as U try to cook. Thought about returning this for credit but it was too much hassle. With a bit of rigging/drilling I was able to make it work better. Would not recommend it at all. Very POOR quality control.

King of the Kookers
After reviewing all the other propane stoves and their problems I decided on the King Kooker CS14. I bought it with the intention of using it for canning and it works great for this. It handles the weight of the canning pot with water and 7 full quarts of tomatoes easily. No problems. Its a nice height to work with and the legs detach easily for storage. The windscreen is handy too. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a dependable, sturdy, portable stove.

Perfect and does the job
I bought it as a gift for my dad. He uses it to fry fish in the backyard. It heats up oil very quickly. He is very happy with it.

Not bad serve the purpose. for this price.
yes a bit short in height, but I resolved it by putting some bricks under to raise its height. Good powerful heat. Only negative is it is rather difficult to adjust the heat level, it is kind of the reverse, something like counter clockwise to increase heat, clockwise to lower the heat and it only have a little bit of range to move around, so could easily turn it off by accident if you try to adjust the heat. the good thing is you could place the propane underneath conveniently.
