I'm 81 years old, have had cataract surgery on both eyes, but still need glasses for close-up reading. These are perfect and not expensive, which I love! They work perfectly, so I don't need a huge bill from the optometrist. My 54-year-old son also uses them, but he'll need to have his vision checked soon and get glasses for his eyes only. But these are great for me! I'll never need anything other than these. I started at 2.0 and now at 2.5.

Excellent quality! The frames are comfortable and attractive. I bought them as a back up, but they actually improve my reading vision better than my recent prescription pair. (Which makes me wonder if my prescription is wrong!)

These are comfortable. I love the blue block. They look good on me and are portable in a hard case. Though they are reading glasses, there is not a jarring and pulling effect to look into the distance --- I love this. The arms easily widen when thet are not picked up by the nose bridge. Then they slide off, and that's irritating. Colors are great. I haven't tested hinges and durability, so I will update if they break soon. Will buy again if they last a while.

I recently bought a pair of $20 readers in the store, and they are so tight that they hurt my head, though not so tight that I realized this when I tried them on. I decided to go back to the cheaper and more comfortable readers from Amazon. They do the job. I can keep spare pairs in frequently-needed places. I can switch to a different color when I feel like a change. And they stay on my head when I'm not actually using them, as the more expensive ones slip off. When I drop them, they are more likely to break. But since they come in a 5-pack, I just grab another pair, and the set lasts me until I need to upgrade to the next higher magnification.

As long as you know the correct strength of lens you need, these are perfect. I bought these, mainly, because I knew I would keep losing/mislaying them, so 5 pairs for such a low price was worth a punt. The quality of these really surprised me. Very sturdy, and appear to look yellow on one side, and blue on the other, which I believe is good for looking at screens (Though I'm not an expert). Very good purchase, and I will buy more, when I inevitably start losing them.
