Loved the book. Would recommend to those looking to connect or reconnect with themselves and/or other people. Part of me wonders whether these visual landscapes are just aspects of our imagination as opposed to actual places, but otherwise, a well recommended read in understanding the human psyche.

This is such a great author the book was so enlightening. Her other books are amazing too

I was completely enthralled right at the get-go. Explanations and exercises are offered to connect with self and others starting with a simple, “talk to your heart” exercise all the way through to a guided tour of the complex and bizarre world of what we might encounter when we venture to be present with oursleves and others... the virtual wild “walls and landscapes” that we will have to traverse to gain access to our true selves and help others to feel we are truly with them. It has exercises for dissolving ego both for connecting with our own inner dimensions and the inner dimensions of others and the good news is it’s completely win-win: if you would want to make access to be manipulative you’re barking up the wrong tree... this realm is a no bs zone. I’ve been practicing being present with myself and my efforts are already bearing fruit... opportunities are showing up in my physical reality and I’m less inclined to be self critical. I’ve already recommended it to 8 friends and they are all enthralled so far. Well done, Teal Swan.

This book was AMAZING! It explores ways to discover the vast inner territory of a person's psyche. I was fascinated by the description of landscapes and walls, as well as how to work with them towards greater understanding of oneself and others. It offers very innovative ways to intimately connect--ways I had never considered but am now excited to try out. An absolute diamond of a book!

I was very dissapointed by this. This was way too woo woo for my liking. I was looking for some accessible advise on improving connection but instead I got something that would only make since if I was high AF. This might work for someone who's really into some high level spiritual stuff but for the average person still connected to reality this isn't great.

...when it comes to putting psychology into layman's terms and crafting a way for people to utilize better skills for empathizing with eachother. I love the use of symbolic language in this book. It's a fun and sensitive way to get in touch with someone.

If Teal wrote a book titled "Watching Paint Dry" .... I would buy it. This woman has wisdom that is just beyond this world and this existence. Well worth reading.
