The Amazing Spider-Man 5: Spiral Paperback – October 13, 2015

I liked Yuri Watanabe in the SPIDER-MAN video game and I believe the character is somewhat wasted with them having gone down the path of being the Wraith. Then again, I feel like Spider-Man having a George Stacie or Jean DeWolfe character was always a good thing and lacking in modern comics. Sadly, I didn't quite buy the corruption of Yuri in the book and feel like it was much too abrupt. I'm also not sure how she developed her super-reflexes without superpowers or training.Yes, yes, I'm overthinking it. Felicia Hardy is also at her meanest in this book and no one was asking for that. Still, very well drawn and some classic villains return.

I was hoping to get a continuation from the last volume but instead it was a side story, revolving around a gang feud with a few villains (including black cat). It seems like the writers are really sticking to their guns with trying to make black cat into this vicious villain; and that's ok with me. It's good to see the actions of past events (superior spiderman series) affecting peter, a lot of comic book series would make an arc then once it was done they would never mention it again. But honestly the story didn't interest me as much as the other stories did; it's kind of hard to top the spidey verse volume. Overall I recommend it

It's great for what it is. Now if you're expecting spider man he is in here but he's more of a side character however that doesn't make this any less good it just proves that you can make a spider man story with different characters at the center.

Spider-man is one of my favorite superheroes and I am really enjoying Amazing Spider-Man I loved the story and the art style since superior spider man "btw superior spider man vol. 1 was my first comic book and I loved it"

I would say this was a rare miss from Slott since he took over the book. Rare but getting more frequent as I did not enjoy Spider-Verse as much as I thought I was going to. With the mega-event Secret Wars looming soon after this storyline, I can see why they did not want to push any major storyline before that began and this seemed kind of like a throw away arc.

A new interesting story and art style for spidey featuring some old classic villans and heros. A testament for all spidey fans and a great read cant wait to finish the series!

The underworld is in a constant flux and has been since the Kingpin got taken out at SHADOWLAND. That war is heating up and Spidey's going to do something about it. But he's not the only one-- Police Captain Yuri Watanabe is trying to curtail the madnessboth in her day job as a police officer and as the vigilante THE WRAITH! Do she and Spidey play by the same rules?it's a great story as we spider-man struggling to undo the mistakes of the superior spider-man picking up after the kingpin faked his own death and left town and with mister Negative,tombstone and the goblin king all fighting to fill in the power vacuum but when the wraith starts taking tips from mister negative who is really in control?

My son loved this graphic novel

In diesem Band mal etwas "klassischere" Verbrechensbekämpfung. Inhaltlich okay, Wraith ist eine interessante Figur, die man in diversen Serien auftauchen sieht, Mr. Negative... nun ja. War für Venom wichtig.Was mich wirklich stört, ist der Zeichenstil, vor allem der Gesichter. Sehen alle gleich aus, da, egal von welchem Winkel, immer derselbe Ausdruck und dieselben Maße vorhanden sind. Da mochte jemand kein nicht-Manga-Kinn von unten zeichnen... oder Hinterköpfe. (Man sehe auf dem Cover rechts oben- so sehen fast alle männlichen Chars in diesem Band aus)
