Really easy to set up. Used under tile and under vinyl plank flooring. The thermostat works well. Floors feel good to walk on in winter. super warm.

Important to note, I didn't see it listed anywhere in the description, but you cannot re-terminate the heating coil wire, so if you buy it too large, you're kinda SOL. It says it in bold in the install instructions, but doesn't seem to be anywhere on the amazon page.Buy a size smaller.Otherwise good kit, test notes are great, very easy to read/comprehend, and install is super simple.

Manual says to have mesh on top with heating wire under but they applied the double sided tape on top.I do really like the small 1/2 mesh usedStays down flatter and is kinda self stickyWe staple down the mat -not the wire to ironply primed with a bonding primer then pour self leveling cement over so sticky tape not so important

Still working one full year later. No complaints.
