He lost it. And by lost it, I mean he left it outside near the swingset face upwards in this case. We hadn't found it for 3 weeks. With the weather we've had here on Long Island, NY, it has snowed a couple of times and rained a lot. When I stumbled upon it outside, I thought the brand new iPod touch was a goner with all the crazy weather we've had recently. This was not the case! The iPod touch was still in perfect condition. The only thing that had any damage was this light blue case had a little bubble on the screen and the touch sensitivity was gone. For what we paid for the iPod Touch and this case, I instantly went back on Amazon and purchased the exact same case. If it could handle the weather we had over the past three weeks, this company will definitely get my money again and again when it comes to cases. Excellent price! *by L***M on January 27, 2016* I bought this for my daughter's 6th generation iPod touch. I put a tempered glass screen protector on the screen and then this case and it fits and looks awesome. It definitely makes this thin and very breakable little gem seem very substantial and I feel better about allowing her to take it with her to school and on the bus when she travels to games. The hard plastic snaps on the front and then the rubber/plastic part goes over the back and around the sides. All of the ports are accessible and it seems like it will be good at keeping dirt out. My Otterbox is stretchier and has 2 pieces that snap together and then the rubber backing goes on, but I like the way this one fits and the price is great. To put the front on you have to stick your fingernail under the edge and kind of pry it out as you slide the iPod in. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Protects well, 5 months in. *by C***G on March 4, 2020* Edited at 5 months: The only downsides are the flaps that cover the headphone/ear bud jack and power cord plug in hole, and the relative difficulty in getting the case around the iPod and the two halves of the case together. Before putting it together, I used a razor blade to cut the two stiff flaps off. Otherwise, they would put pressure on, and bend, headphone cord and power cord. I've dropped my iPod many times at many angles since putting the case on, without damage. 5 months in, and many drops later, and still no damage to my ipod.
