Seems like the power supply on my NAS had failed. I checked a couple of power adapters I had at the house which all had the same voltage output but not the amperage needed. I plugged this in and the NAS spun up and has been working as expected.

Amazon needs a zero star rating
Gave this 12 volt power supply a one star rating because I could not give it a zero star rating. Not 60W and actually somewhat less. The output voltage falls below 12 volts at any load greater than about 500mA. If you really need 5A at 12 volts get something else. It did not work on my video surveillance DVR.

I bought this to use with my old music keyboard that runs on 12VDC and 1.5amps. It runs my music keyboard just fine! And the price is right!
