I love velvet hangers for both their look and ability to keep clothes on far better than most other types. My two young girls have an ever expanding wardrobe so we needed to purchase more hangers and I wanted both a good deal and a nicer hanger. These bit both of my criteria. I also like that save for a couple of small zip ties, they came in no extra plastic, just a printed cardboard box. These seem reasonably durable and as though they will hold up to any tests that my children may put them through.

I really love these hangers! I am extremely picky about all hangers matching and being uniform. I have all black velvet hangers for my personal clothes and ordered some black baby hangers for my oldest daughter when she was a baby. She’s now 4 and moving into 5t+ clothes, so the few baby hangers I had for her wardrobe weren’t cutting it anymore. I ordered the black kid size and am so pleased! I decided to live a little and ordered a set of pink with rose gold for all her costumes and am really happy that they’re the same quality as the first set of black I ordered for her. I just ordered more baby hangers for her baby sister and will be getting more pink for all their tutus to hang as well! I was concerned the quality wouldn’t be great or there would be inconsistency based off of other reviews, but I ordered on 2 (now 3 and will be 4) separate occasions and they were both the same! None were broken, and all the heads do swivel.

I bought these hangers for my 12 year old daughter first because I came across a small bundle of them in a discount home store and the size is hard to find (14"). They are perfect for both juniors and petite size clothing, so I tracked down the brand here at Amazon. I purchased 50 with gold hooks for my daughter and 150 with silver hooks for my closet. All are grey because lint shows more on the lightest and darkest colors of velvet hangers I've used before.They definitely deserve 5 stars because of the hard to find size and the color selection. Most hangers sized for petite clothing are only available in kid colors or black. However, there were a couple of broken hangers in each bundle. The price is still less than 50 cents per hanger, even with the few that were broken, and they seemed to be broken from being pressed together for packaging and shipping, not because they're poor quality. so far none of them have broken from regular use, but in my closet I'm using wood hangers for jackets and coats and these for everything else. The hanger hooks do rotate, it just doesn't swivel loosely. My only complaint is that I couldn't find slim finger clips or skirt hangers that matched. I bought both black and light grey clips from a different manufacturer on Amazon but both of them sort of ruined the whole matching hanger vibe. My daughter spray painted them for me with charcoal paint I had leftover from something else, but it felt a little silly and neurotic to ask her to do it. Fortunately she didn't mind since she earned a little extra allowance between painting and switching out hangers for me.

Ok...I gave them a 5 star because they are great for our purposes. We have been using them for the past year and a half. The PROS: The size of the hanger fits our daughter's clothes perfectly. The nice pink felt keeps them from sliding off the hangers as she tries to get dressed in the morning. Because the metal piece does not move around, the hangers do not get tangled with one another. They are also thin so are great space savers--as we have very generous grandparents who love to buy them clothes. We were having these issues as she is becoming more independent. She used to get very frustrated as she would try to pick things out and other clothes would fall off the hangers or get all tangled and etc...So with all of that said--they are perfect for us. The Cons: these hangers break easily. If you try to turn the metal top piece it sometimes snaps the plastic and bye bye hanger. So we have purchase several of these hanger sets (maybe 3 total sets--so 75 hangers) and have lost about 5 hangers over time. Now we know not to twist and turn the top metal piece.

Update:March 2015, Just bought another set this time blue (other 2 sets were pink) I just buy what ever color is the cheapest. I love these. I have cloths up to size 7 on them (girls cloths only) and they work great!!! It is true they are not alot bigger the the baby hangers but they are taller so the cloths hang better. I feel they will work all the way up to adult hangers and even then will work well for tank tops and smaller things like that (I have some of my tops on them and work well) I bought these when for my 2 year olds cloths. I just had baby #2 so I needed more hangers (2 girls LOTS of dresses and cloths). They were cheaper then the infant ones and I figured they would work. They are a little to big for the clo he under 9 months but work great 9 month to 3T cloths (that is the largest I have right now. I think they will work great till they go to adult hangers.

I have purchased these hangers on two separate occasions. My first purchase was for the blue ones for my oldest son's closet when I needed something between a baby hanger and an adult hanger. These are worth the price for sure, and considering the value, I think these are worth every penny. The 4-star review, however, is a reflection on durability and sturdiness only. A few points are below: Pro: 1. You can not beat these hangers for the price - these are the cheapest and best quality for the price across every store I have looked at. 2. The size is perfect for my son's ages 5-8, they are bigger than standard baby hangers and bigger than the IKEA children's hangers. 3. They do keep the clothing ON the hanger, which is great when you have kids who like to yank a shirt out of the closet and bring down 4 other shirts in the process. 4. The color variety is great and allows me to color code the hangers for each of my kids (I have 3) Con: 1. It is very easy to break these, my 7-year-old has stepped on one an broke the hanger with little pressure (my kids are skinny) 2. The most commonplace that they come apart is where the hook connects to the hanger. Since purchasing my first set several years ago we have broken roughly 4-8 of these hangers, being kids though and for the price, you get a ton of great looks for very little cost. I will purchase these again for sure, and can not express how happy I have been with this product.

These hangers are great! They take up a lot less space than the adult sized ones and the flocked edges help the clothes stay on. This was the perfect amount of hangers to hang up all my kiddos things that can't be folded.

I was really hoping these would be a little better quality made than they are, straight out of the box 3 of the hangers were already broken right at the spot the hook meets the body of the hanger, while I didn’t expect them to be high end or able to hold lots of weight I certainly didn’t expect them to arrive already broken at that spot on all 3 of the ones that arrived broken with the rest so that doesn’t give me much confidence in these lasting long, the seller did have a card asking to be contacted incase of any issues or if not satisfied but no where is there any contact info listed so instead of trying to talk to them before placing my review like I would have liked to give them them option to make it right I’m left having to leave a mediocre review which I hate to do but have no choice. I could return them I guess but for 3 out of 50 hangers it isn’t worth the hassle so I’m just hoping the rest may fair better than they have so far I’m including pictures of what I found as I first opened the package. I have used similar velvet hangers in the past and do love them and how they keep your garments from simply sliding right off so I’m not sure if brand plays a factor yet or not or if it’s just a price you pay for these slimer lighter weight hangers which I will say the price was great for the amount of hangers you receive. I may edit this review after a few weeks of use to reflect a more in depth review of how they hold up, but so far I can’t say I’m to impressed with the quality and duribility of them if 3 broke just being shipped
