Good quality bowls, but a tad pricey
Use the bowls all the time, usually buy from Costco. They have been out for a long time, so we ordered from Amazon. Cost is a lot more than we paid at Costco.

Great all purpose bowls.
These bowls are great. I buy them from Amazon and Walmart because they sell-out so often. They are very handy for all sorts of uses. These (the 10 ounce) are the smaller bowls, the larger size being the 20 ounce. The 20 ounce can hold several items (mini meal of leftovers). A sandwich on regular sandwich bread, unless cut in half, is too big for the 10 ounce bowls. If the contents are not fluid, you can pile them kinda high because they are fairly strong. A normal can of Spaghettios is 15 ounces so hope that helps for comparison. The sides are nice and high, making the dish somewhat deep. The sides are fairly strong for lifting. The bowls have a waxed/slick type lining that will hold liquids well but over a period of time, it will break down. I can water dad's small dog using the bowl but I cannot leave the bowl sitting with water more than four to six hours at max. If you use them for dry items, you can use them for as long as you want. They can even be lightly washed/rinsed/dried and reused.Using the bowls in the microwave or for hot foods is no problem. They hold up extremely well to heat. You can even double up and use two bowls at once if needed. They stay together well.If you are doing home composting, tear or cut the bowls a few times and they break down easier. The more you cut, the quicker and easier then break down.

Pricing is high, but great bowls compared to others out there.
We like the sturdiness of these bowls, but we don't like the high price tag

Sometimes they’re stuck together!
I use these almost everyday. They can easily stick together so you end up using two bowls if you’re not looking closely!

I did find it necessary to use 2 bowls to keep the heat off of the hands.
This is my review of the Dixie paper bowls. My husband has a pool league ,that he host starting every February and they are always concocting some kind of Stew or Chili dish to eat during the games. So I picked up these paper bowls to serve up the stuff in. I heat I was happy with the way that they performed , but I did find it necessary to use 2 bowls, to keep the heat off of the hands. They did not leak at all and I was happy with that. Wish that they would make the bottoms thicker to help keep the heat off of your hand when eating hot stuff like Chili and Stew. But we just doubled them up and they did just fine.

Outrageously Expensive
The cost per bowl is $0.19 each, extremely expensive. They’re not 10 oz bowls but 12 oz bowls, although they say 10 oz. They are not heavy duty as moisture comes through the bottom. Do not walk with soup or other hot foods unless you put 2 bowls together or wash your floor walking to the table with these bowls. DO NOT recommend.

SO many uses ....
I use these small bowls for a LOT of things: feeding my cats their twice-daily wet food, mis en place in the kitchen, a serving of ice cream, disposable spoon rest while cooking, morning breakfast cereal or oatmeal -- they're small but not TOO small to be useful. These aren't the "ultra"-quality bowls, but they're sturdy enough to hold quite a lot without collapsing. They're fine with liquids, including soup, as long as you finish it within a couple of hours. I left some water in one of the bowls overnight, and it did soak through and leak. So bear that in mind.I purchase these a lot because I use them a lot, and I'm very happy with them.
