At the advice of friends I purchased this set of pre-wound bobbins from Simthread to use with my embroidery machine. They’re terrific! I love the convenience of pre-wound bobbins as they hold more thread than I can get when I wind bobbins, and they are ready to go whenever I need them without the headache of having to stop and wind yet another bobbin. The thread is thin, and that’s just what I need. It does the work of a bobbin thread without getting in the way of my embroidery. It’s also strong, and holds up well. Thank you Simthread! Life is busy enough without having to stop and wind more bobbins. Now to finish my masks.

I was concerned because I purchased this for my Viking Lily and wasn’t certain it would work. But it worked perfectly. I would have liked a little thicker thread but this sees out very nicely and fit my machine. I’ve been having trouble with my bobbin wonder so this worked perfect.

I buy my bobbins pre-wound because I hate taking the time to wide them myself. Some machines don't wind bobbins evenly, no matter what you do, and I don't have time for that bother. I buy my bobbins in black and white, as well as color assortments of 70 or more colors. When I need a bobbin, I am ready to go in minutes, no matter the fabric color I am using. The pre-wounds don't break or get caught-up in thread nests as easily as machine wound bobbins do. Each bobbin is uniform in it's distribution of thread.

I’ve only used one so far, but I just popped it my machine and started sewing without a hitch.

Ordered these for a Janome since my bobbin winder on my machine got jammed and won't work anymore. Very good price for the convenience of not winding my own bobbins and the price is reasonable (especially if you buy them on sale).

Great value, but over half of the bobbins have cracks in them. I needed these for a project right away, so I used one of the white bobbins that did not have cracks and it works great (the bobbin winder on my Brother Pacesetter PC 6500 broke so pre-wound bobbins seemed to be the cheaper solution). I used Simthread embroidery thread for the top thread and this bobbin thread is a good thin thread for embroidery.

I have never used prewound bobbins before. I have Husqvarna machines and they take a special bobbin unique to each machine. When I saw the 'L' advertise, I wondered if it would work in my machines. Well, it did and I'm happy to say that I am most pleased at the ease of use and beautiful even stitching it produced. Never wind [email protected]

I love these bobbins. They're perfect for my machine and not having to stop and wind a bobbin allows me to sew and get the project done faster. I just don't lie now that I have the extra bobbins I can win them and have them ready for my next project

Decided to try pre wound bobbins for my embroidery machine, very happy, lots more thread than you think and does twice the amount of normal X would highly recommend

The Slmthread Pre-Wound Bobbins thread is a real timesaver! I got the box with black and white Pre-Wound bobbins and also a couple of the boxes with colored bobbin threads. An excellent idea and an excellent product.

I bought this to go with my embroidery machine. They are great.. I did one that was over 27k stitches. And that seemed to help me finish the spool off.

Did not fit my Designer.
