Mishima Instant Soup Mix, Hot & Sour, .95-Ounce Packets (Pack of 12)

I love this soup mix. Now, it doesn't taste like the hot and sour soup you get at a restaurant but, after having a few packs I was hooked. It is so easy and convenient. Just pour the packet into a mug and use your Keurig, your tea pot, or your microwave to add hot water. I find that it is a great hack for curbing my appetite or just to have a nice, hot beverage other than coffee or tea.

I haven't eaten meat in decades... still I miss Hot & Sour soup. I found this as a substitute. If you are expecting Hot & Sour as you've experienced in restaurants, this is not it. However, if you take this broth at something uniquely itself, it is quite tasty. I use half a package in mixing and often use it when I am ill - very soothing.

I cant find these in stores anymore. They are good by themselves and easy to use. However, I also use them as additional seasoning to all kinds of dishes I make, especially soups and Oriental themed meals. The only drawback is that they are individual 1 cup usages (3 packets in an envelope, 12 envelopes in a box). I wish they made this as a standalone seasoning in a large bottle. Kind of pricey the way they are packaged.

For instant soup, this is as close to the real thing that you can get. For my own taste, I add a bit of artisan soy sauce and a pinch of Himalayan pink salt. This puts chicken broth to shame. Especially good if you have a cold or on a frosty night! Will be buying this in the future.

Love this soup. We have it right over pasta. I make home made hot and sour, but this is fantastic for when you want something easy. Should be less money, though, for what you get.

I take these soup packets + thermos with hot water + soup bowl + spoonwhenever need to eat a lunch away from home.This soup is so good. At home, we add some cheese and egg.

I wanted this to taste like hot and sour soup because it is so easy to make but it just doesn't.

Although not a true hot and sour flavor. It is a pretty good.
