These are top quality lights, not some off brand crap. If you have an EZ Loader boat trailer then this is the actual brand light that the factory put on it when it was built. I have EZ Loader trailer that was built in 1995 and these are the same lights that it had in it when it was brand new and one of them was still working when I replaced last week. You should also know that this trailer has always been used to launch and retrieve my boat from salt water so they have definitely been torture tested. I’ve seen where some people have said that these aren’t water proof (submersible) and they’re very very wrong. The housing is not water tight and it will fill with water when submerged but it also drains when pulled out of the water but that doesn’t matter because the bulbs are in a water tight capsule inside of the tail light housing and that is all that matters. I think people see holes in the light and assume it’s not water tight but you have to remove the lense to see that the bulbs and sockets are in their own sealed capsule.

This replacement housing fit perfectly on our boat trailer. The correct side was sent as the driver side has a clear lens cutout at the bottom to illuminate the license plate as well. Easy to wire up and as of this review we have submerged the light twice. And it shows no signs of water leakage. Update about 2 months in: After maybe two dunks into water the bulbs have built up water and shorted out. Wiring held up, just water in the “air tight” housing. I NEED these lights for my trailer so I ordered another. I plan to open it up and caulk it well and hope for the best.

This driver side tail light was a good choice for me. Looks just like the original one which, unfortunately, I hit while on a riding mower. (I know - too close with the mower). This was very easy to install. Wiring matched color coding with the original and was super easy to splice with one exception; the kit did not come with any wire-nuts. The original ones were rusted; so luckily, I had some which connected nicely. I thought this was a bit pricey - but it beats having to purchase a whole tail light kit which includes both tail lights and trailer wiring which I certainly did not need. I am satisfied with this purchase and would purchase again if needed. (I purchased this item myself and this is an unbiased review.)

These lights replaced boat trailer lights I replaced last year. I did my research and I liked the design concept behind these trailer lights. You can replace bulbs that burn out. The bulbs are housed within the trailer lens housing in another water proof housing. Great and efficient design. Design was well thought out and installation fit my trailer design without the need for any modifications and the necessary mounting screws were provided.

Installation was a breeze

A great product. Bulb capsule is removable for future bulb replacement. Have submerged trailer 4 times since installing. No leaks. This does have the clear underside for license plate illumination. Highly recommend!

After having a light fall off sometime during a 5 hour drive, leaving only the wires and a little of the housing, I had to replace it. This one fit my Sea Doo trailer flawlessly. I've had no issues with quality, and even being completely submerged, no water has entered the housing. The only issue I had was the wire colors didn't match up with the harness on my trailer - this was an easy fix.
