nice versitile bench
Leisurely was able to put it together in around 45 minutes or so, pretty easy to figure out. the pads are nice and cushioned, and the frame seems pretty damn solid. it can be folded to save a bit of room which is nice. im 6ft 220ish pounds and it was able to support me just fine, the height is good and the seat or bench portion seemed to be able to handle the weight well. the pegs/pads for the feet and such seem a bit weak, but ill overlook that as its a pretty versitile bench. recommended

Great, sturdy bench. Good price.
This is a really excellent bench for a home gym. It's rock solid when assembled, and I have no worries or doubts in its ability to hold when doing heavy lifts.A few things:1. A lot of people are complaining about the size. Width is perfect, and the height is standard from anything I would expect in a typical gym. I'm 5'10 and the size is perfect for flat bench, but a little short for incline. There is enough of my head on the bench for incline for support, however.2. The design is a little weird with the top foam rolls, but those are easily removed (or not installed in the first place)I would definitely buy again, it's exactly what I needed.

Good bench for the money... with a $2 trip to the hardware store.
I bought this for my small home gym. Having read reviews on several other benches I settled on this for its weight capacity, cost, and flexibility. My initial impressions are that the construction is ok. I looked at some other benches in local stores (Bowflex, Weider, etc...) which cost $160 and up and lacked the ability to collapse or perform incline sit-ups. I feel like I got my money's worth with a small caveat; As another reviewer mentioned, the rotary clamp used to secure the bench in its extended position does not work. I have included some pictures of what I'm talking about and my fix but, the bolt that the clamp screws on to is too long so when the handle is tightened to the point that it bottoms out against the bolt, it's still about 1/16" from the frame. This means you can only use the bench fully extended or fully collapsed, kind of making it a pain to get a decent position for sit-ups. I was able to fix this with a lock washer, large washer, and I added a rubber washer to ensure a snug fit against the frame and prevent sliding. All said and done it was a $2 trip to the hardware store but I can't tell if this is just a quality control issue that some of the products experience or others just haven't felt the need to collapse or adjust the bench. Whatever the case, I'm very happy with the bench now but disappointed that it required modification.I am about 5'10 and as some others have noted, this bench probably won't work well for taller people. It's just about perfect for my wife(5'7) and I though. As far as stability goes, this bench is very stable, on par with the more expensive Weider and Bowflex that I looked at in store. Other than my issue with the clamp, the construction is solid. A friend of mine broke one of his benches (cheap-o brand) while doing bench presses in his garage one morning and I didn't want to have to worry about that happening to me. I am confidant that this thing can support the claimed 600# (300 user+300 weight) total limit. I highly doubt I'll be testing that any time soon (I think his was rated much lower, but still...)So in summary, if you're taller than about 5'10 or don't need to fold the bench up, I'd say look somewhere else for a non-collapsible version. Without the shortcomings introduced by that feature, this bench is quite the bargain. With them factored in to the picture it's a good bench, at best.

Pretty Versatile
Look, this isn't a heavy duty weight bench. Obviously no barbell support nor other features. My particular bench was listed as "Used. Good condition". It was in excellent shape and (almost best of all) came fully assembled. Positives: great for use with dumbbells, decent angles/support for inclines or upright shoulder presses/hammer curls, seat incline angle is acceptable, lightweight and very portable. Negatives: not conducive for bench press declines, leg supports are a little strange (I removed the upper support). I've used it every other day for almost 2 months. Would definitely buy again.

Good bench : Sturdy, balanced, easy to assemble
The bench is sturdy, comfortable, well balanced, and the back easily transitions form flat to upright. It is also easy to fold up, although given the weight ( 48 lbs I think ) I just pick it up and move it around.I was also impressed by the packaging of the hardware, a piece of cardboard with the nuts / screws shrink-wrapped to it identified by number. The assembly instructions were good, although a little hard to understand sometimes since they were just drawings. The drawings had the part numbers and lines that showed where things were supposed to go. I had a little trouble a few times, but overall it was good and it did not take me long to assemble.

UPDATE: Parts fit after final tool tightening 5/5
Bolts are too long. I made sure to follow the instructions and the designated bolts for the VERY first part do not fit. The nuts have a plastic bit that doesn’t let you continue to tighten so they’re just stuck and the assembly is loose. Useless can’t continue to build. Am waiting on the phone for impex fitness customer service if they give me the old “we will send replacement parts” I am immediately returning this. This should have been right from the start. I’m not gonna continue building and find out other stuff is also wrong.UPDATE 17 July 2020: Ok I’m not very smart and apparently this thing is designed so you hand tighten everything first(everything is gonna be very loose) and at the very end you use the tools to properly tighten everything down. NOW that I fully assembled properly it is extremely stable and does not wobble at all! I’m a big guy close to that 300lbs limit and with my weight on top of the weights I’m doing (an additional 150lbs currently) everything is still rock solid. Amazing bench for the money!!

Good, sturdy bench
Good, sturdy bench. Seems a bit short, though. I am 6'2" and I feel a bit cramped, especially when it's folded up and I have the leg supports to deal with. I've begun using it in reverse to avoid the leg supports for bench press, etc..
