As a Southern Californian, Jalapeños are a staple in my house. Anything related to Jalapeños definitely captures my attention.I tried this salt on hash browns and some chicken - absolutely delicious. The flavor is definitely the star of the show. My salt levels are definitely going up and my doctor is going to want to know why.I should point out that the second I opened the jar (which is magnetic by the way) I released several sudden, violent sneezes. This stuff is definitely potent aromatically. If you are a scent-sensitive individual, you may want to wear a mask or something. If you sneeze from black pepper, you are going to sneeze like crazy. Mind you, this stuff is so delicious I would never penalize it for this reason. Just consider yourself warned.The spiciness was not overwhelming to the palate. Granted, everyone has their own "Scoville maximum" but this seemed pretty tame to me, though I did not use much. If I wanted to make it spicier, I could easily add chili powder and/or cayenne pepper to whatever I was making. I should be honest, I have always been drawn to spicy foods and may have a tolerance higher than some people. Consider yourself warned.Overall, I would highly recommend this. My only "criticism" is that I wish the quantity were greater, but who am I kidding? I'll buy this again, absolutely.

I had an old jar of basil salt that I loved but it was running low and I needed a refill. This was the closest thing I could find. Flavor is good, not too salty. Great on roasted chicken.

This salt is yummy! And the container doubles as a shaker. Would definitely purchase again.

Good flavor, just a little too salty, more jalapeño and a little less salt would be better in my opinion.

This stuff is great. Rimmed my Bloody Mary glasses. Husband loved it on eggs and baked potato. Great snack with celery. We are experimenting with all kinds of food And so far it is a great addition.

I bought this to use on my home-popped popcorn. I found that if I sprinkle just a little in small bowl and thinly coat the bottom (a little goes a long way), and then swirl in my popcorn, it gives just the right amount of flavor and kick without causing any sneezing. I love the little tin that it comes in and have added it to my popcorn display in my kitchen to keep it handy. Many thanks to the seller for a smooth and easy transaction.

Delicious. My kids are using it on everything from meat to mashed potatoes and love it. Will definitely gift it.
