Very high quality, well-engineered straightener--pricier but clearly better performance than the typical Walmart/drugstore version. Heats up quickly, holds heat well, and does a fantastic job of straightening (or in my case, curling) hair with lasting effect but without frying the hair. My hair is straw-straight normally and I have only the most basic hair styling skillz, but the waves and curls I style last all day and into the next day with this straightener, and my hair doesn't feel dry or damaged. My teen has hair that's a mix of waves and curls and gets straight, smooth hair until hair is shampooed with this straightener. Smooth clamping action keeps even pressure on the lock of hair and the swivel cord prevents the cord from tangling or getting twisted. Would be nice if the heat plates were a tad longer, to allow larger locks of hair, but it makes quick work of curling or straightening nonetheless. Going strong for 3 months so far. Made in Korea.

Heats up fast. Doesn’t burn my hair. Don’t need the highest temperature to style.

I like how thin it is. Works well for my short pixie styles.

Worst experience I have had buying a product on Amazon. My order printout states the condition of the iron is “NEW” yet the iron came clearly preowned and CLEARLY USED MANY TIMES! It would have been one thing if the iron was “like new” meaning someone bought it maybe opened it but didn’t use it then decided to return it. Ok then, I wouldn’t be that mad. 1st sign the item may not have been new was the wear and tear on the corners of the box that will result from constantly opening and closing the box. Next I open the box to find a piece of long light color hair inside the box! (see picture). Then I see that the iron black surface right by the name “Glampalm” is rubbed off and faded with white marks as if it’s been thru many uses and owned by someone for a long time (see pics). To make it even worse the yellow coating on the ceramic on all sides and corners is already stripping/ chipped, as if the iron been preowned,used and banged up overtime . I know this because this is how my current CHI, ceramic plates have come to look. I email the seller expressing my outrage and I get a simple message stating: Hi Chris, you may return the product with all its packaging at...” No apologies or anything or explanation that there was a misunderstanding or mixup. Nothing. Just return the product was all I got. So this makes me think this seller was intentionally trying to sell a 200 plus dollar iron as NEW condition, when it is preowned. I filed a complaint with amazon that the seller is dishonest. If they had contacted me with even just a simple we’re sorry, we made a mistake I would have just handled it between the seller and probably just ask for a replacement because I really wanted this iron. There was only 1 left when I purchased from this seller, so I’m almost certain the seller was just trying to get rid of the last one.

For the price, it doesn’t get as hot as I feel it should. Other than that, I love it. I think I could have found one that works even better, but cost less. Hope this helps.

Our daughter told me about using a hair straightener on one of my many BAD HAIR DAYS. My hair isn't real curly but just curly enough where it can be very difficult to manage. Even if I put it in large rollers, there are times when it is going to do just what wants, like sticking up in the air. I wet it down & then out of sheer desperation, I usually end up wearing a scarf or a hat. With this GREAT hair straightener, bad hair days are a thing of the past. They are really the best! Temperature is adjustable, so it is not harsh on your hair. There is a vibrating mode which helps to straighten your hair while using less heat. It heats up quickly & works perfectly every time. If I could give it 10 stars!

Not sure what to say. I ordered because I had a previous glampalm and loved it but it died after several years. Just received this one and it came in a clear plastic wrapping as if it were used. No box, no instructions. I did not pay $220 to get a used flat iron. Very frustrating!!!

All I can say is WOW! I never had this kind of flat iron that does wonders to my hair and the quality is amazing. It does the job! I have very frizzy, wavy hair and after using it kept my hair smooth and silky all day. The description you see is what you would expect. The temperature is adjustable to your liking, it has a swivel feature so it won’t tangle up, it heats up very quickly and it comes with a silicone sleeve! This is my forever product!
