Awesome story, great imagery.
A lot of people give me grief over being such a die-hard fan of Superman, and their main gripe is that he's just too powerful. They say he's so Godlike there's no real intrigue, as he can easily overcome any obstacle or opponent. This book shows the more vulnerable side of him. He's physically very durable, but he's still a person, with feelings, hopes and fears. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to see a real story develop, rather than the standard bullets bouncing off the chest, or speeding around effortlessly stopping every bad guy possible.

A good storyline
I enjoyed the storyline a lot. Michael Turner (R.I.P.) did an awesome job with the artwork. I would think this is part of an artistic legacy that he left behind. I just wish it was a little longer. But all in all, I liked it and I would recommend it, especially if you're a big fan of Michael Turner's work.

This should be exciting for a young reader.
Hopefully this will get our little guy to read more. The story is not too violent & the art is not too racy. Very well done.

Lackluster
This was kind of a decent Superman story but it lost my interest in a lot of places.

Great
The art is fantastic. Haven't figured exactly where this is going but wherever it goes I am on board. Recommend

One of the Better Superman Story lines.
I bought this to understand the Costume in Injustice:Gods Among Us. I got so much more, it's a decent tale that humanizes Superman far better than that lousy Zach Snyder ever could. I hope the New Superman/Batman Movie fails and ends in flames. You don't have superman Kill people, and you don't have Ben Affleck play batman, you especially don't let Zach Snyder do anything, he's the Michael Bay of this Generations.

Excellent Drawing. Story Is Kind of Boring.
Excellent drawing as usual from Michael.Cons:1. Story line is a bit dry for my taste.Pros:1. Great drawing, pencil, and coloring.2. Very vivid and detailed artworkConclusion: If you are buying this just to have it in your collection, great. If you are buying this to learn how to draw or admire the drawing, great. If you bought this for reading, you can finish this in about 1 hour.

Great Superman story
What I liked was the story. What I know of Superman's story, this was a nice little side story that was well written.

Superman: Godfall Vol. 1
Kal-El's life on Krypton is one of privilege. His marriage to the alien Lyla is a cause for resentment, but when he is attacked by a gang of aliens, he exhibits the powers of a god when light burns from his eyes. The disturbing increase in his abilities hides a secret he cannot even admit to himself. The 'Godfall' arc is interesting and Kelly's story can be understood out side it's contemporary context. The story reinforces the importance of Clark Kent in the Superman mythos. It is Clark's moral compass that defines Kal-El's actions.

A Blast
A bloody good Read. Absolute thrill from the first page to the last page. Slightly disappointed with the Art, only because I was expecting Michael Turner's stroke of genius. But overall, art and story is a welcome change to the world of Superman. Let the Gods fall. Buy this book now.

I expected more (no pun intended)
This was such a disappointment. I expected way more, but then again I read a lot of Moore stuff so not many things can stand up to that. Waste of money in my opinion.
