Perfect fit
This is one of those parts you never heard of or even thought you had to change. Could not find this part at Home Depot and our closest well pump store was too far. Took a chance at ordering this part on Amazon and it was a perfect fit!!!

Saved me about $500!
When my 19 year old (Menards) water softener developed a leak I started looking for parts and could not locate any. Luckily I still had the owners manual and looked there for a part number but no luck there either. However I did find that my particular softener could use two different bypass valves and each valve had a corresponding number. Upon looking up those numbers I found that mine was a 256. The part that was leaking was the 3/4” plastic pipe nipple on the inlet of the softener. Upon googling that number I found a similar part on Amazon. This one was copper vice plastic. Ordered it along with a couple shark bite couplings and two days later it’s all fixed. So instead of having to buy and install a new waster softener (for about $500) I spent about $40 and repaired my old one. Could not be happier.

Perfect fit but….
It was a perfect fit for what I needed to install a water softener in my home. But I wish it would have came with instructions as to how it was to be put together. I made the mistake of putting the rubber washers between the screw on fittings and the pipe. My basement turned into a swimming pool. The washers go between the flange of the copper pipe and the threaded connections on the back of the control. My own fault for not doing the research like I should have.

Fit like OEM
My acidic water had finally eaten a hole in the copper pipe leading to my water neutralizer over the past 15 or so years. I replaced the pipes affected with PEX but needed to replace these fittings as well. Not available at your local box store but they were here on Amazon. Just what I needed. Should last another 15 years.

Worked Great
Solved leaking issue I had on my old unit. Got a quote for repair that was above 200 dollars. This worked great.
