When I was putting together my hex-acopter with the APM Flight Controller, I missed the piece where I needed to have a Power Module to convert down to the FC. I did some research and ended up purchasing this module. After reading that someone burned up their copter I was very hesitant to plug this in, but went for it. This unit worked PERFECTLY as described and I haven't had a bit of bad luck with it yet. The APM cables are very long and the connectors are tight. The clear shrink wrap around the module is thick and provided a lot of protection. The only think I don't like about this, is the fact that I need it which isn't a draw back from the unit. I am using it on a DIY Hexa Copter with APM 2.8. I WILL purchase this product again.

It's working fine for a 6-cell Pixhawk build, as the 3DR power module will not handle six cells. A star off because the included cable did not seem to be compatible with the Pixhawk but the power cable that came with the Pixhawk seems to work OK.

Even after extensive calibration and setup in Mission Planner, voltage reading fluctuates a lot and it is inconsistent. At one voltage level it is correct just to be way off when voltage changes. I did not have this problem with the original 3DR PM. I used it with Pixhawk Mini.
