Stromanthe Easy-to-Grow Live Prayer Plant, 6" Pot, Indoor/Outdoor Air Purifier! (New Version)

This is my third purchase from the American Plant Exchange Store and haven't had any issues until this one. I purchased this plant as a gift and I have to say I'm very disappointed in how I received it. When I opened the box I found that the plant has been shifted to it's side and most of the soil had fallen out of the pot and into the bag. Due to that the roots were exposed and I had to re-pot the plant so that it stood upright correctly and add more soil. While I was doing this I noticed something moving and I dug out a worm.... I'm pretty sure I didn't order a worm with my plant so I made sure I treated it for any other surprise bugs or pests. Some of the leaves are brown and dieing already, which makes me think they did not inspect the plant before they shipped it out. I have the plant in a treatment area separated from all my other plants in hopes I can bring it back to health. The other two plants I purchased from here came in healthy and strong thus why I kept going back but now I may look elsewhere to purchase my plants.

I'm pleased that my plant arrived alive, but it was much squatter and fuller, rather than taller and tiered like photos indicate. Made it difficult to find a pot that will fit it well. I understand plants are all different shapes and sizes, but this one was misrepresented. Mine probably has over 50 leaves–so dense, you can't really appreciate the leaves! You can also see a lot of cut stems, likely for propagating, but it looks like I got the queen propagator. Not nearly as pretty as the smaller one I ordered for a friend on Etsy.

The plant was beautiful but it was half dead when I received it. It was also infested with gnats.

Super happy with this plant! It came packed very well - so much so it was difficult to get out of the box. There was dirt all over the leaves, so I gave it a quick shower off in the sink and patted the leaves dry.Looks beautiful! Love the colors! I hope it does well in my home.

Plant arrived a little dried up and limp. Thought it would perk up. It was a gift. Brought it home yesterdayfrom my Sister's. Don't know if it will make it. Won't do this again.

Shipped quickly but not nearly the amount of foliage as pictured . Mine is 10 leaves with one on the way. It is healthy overall, just small. Stromanthe can be short lived, so I would probably just buy this at a local shop. This small of size is not worth shipping
